General Hospital Spoilers: Laura Seeks Sonny’s Help Regarding Drew’s Plans With Sidewell
General Hospital Spoilers reveal that Laura Collins (Genie Frances) will turn to Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) to figure out what to do about Drew Quartermaine’s (Cameron Mathison) plan to work with Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota). Drew wants the city to take Sonny’s piers for Sidwell to use for his business.
Sonny Corinthos Has More Pressing Issues
Sonny has found himself in a situation where he cannot be bother with problems right now. Sonny has three months before he needs to have heart surgery and This is the last thing he needs.
However, Sonny put off his surgery to settle his business issues for a while and it seem this has become a very important issue.
Sonny’s piers are there for his legitimate business, Corinthos Coffee. Without the piers that serve his business Sonny would lose enough business to likely close down the Coffee warehouse.
Of course, Sonny uses his piers for his not so legitimate business as well. Drew wants to shut him down and taking the piers could do that.
Sonny Corinthos Could Sue The City
Laura has already pointed out that Sonny could sue the city and keep this tied up in court for years if they attempt to take his piers from him.
Drew seems to believe that he as another Congressman who can push this through for him. However, Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) is determined to stop him.
Will Sonny agree to allow Port Charles to take over his piers or will he insist on protecting what is his? Laura certainly wants to avoid a mob war and she knows that is exactly what will happen between Sonny and Sidwell.
Sidwell already tried to kill Laura’s son, Sonny’s friend, and the police commissioner.
The Mobster With A Heart Of Gold
Let’s be honest. Sonny may be a mobster but he has built wings of the hospital. Sonny is always there to donate for anything that needs rebuilt, saved or whatever the case may be.
Sonny is also Laura’s friend and he feels he needs to look after Laura’s son. Why would Laura wants to work with the man who tried to kill Lucky Spencer (Jonathan Jackson).
Laura knows that Sidwell will not be the person that Sonny is. Sidwell is ruthless and he is hiding behind his business to fight with Sonny over Port Charles. Laura knows deep down that allowing Sidwell to take over Sonny’s piers would be a horrible mistake.
Can Laura convince Sonny not to fight with Sidwell and give her time to shut Drew down herself?
