Sam Has Experienced Profound Loss
General Hospital’s Sam has suffered a profound loss more than once in her lifetime. Sam’s mother abandoned her as a young child. Sam’s adoptive father was killed shortly after she came to Port Charles. Sam sacrificed a lot to take care of her brother Danny McCall (David Greenman) only to lose him to a virus. Sam also lost her daughter Lila years ago. Sam will be a great person for Jocelyn to confide in and she may offer her some sage advice on getting past her latest loss.
Helping Jocelyn Could Provide A Distraction
General Hospital’s Sam has just learned that Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) has been targeted by Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober). Sam’s son was almost caught in the crossfire. Sam needs a distraction now that Jason won’t agree to leave until the danger is over. Sam is concerned for her family and is afraid of losing Jason for good this time.
Jocelyn needs someone that isn’t a part of her circle of friends to talk to. Sam could certainly be that person and help her to find a way to deal with this latest heartbreak. Could talking to Jocelyn help Sam put the issues she is dealing with into perspective as well?
Jocelyn Has A Lot On Her Mind
General Hospital’s Jocelyn recently fought with Dev Cerci (Ashton Arbab) shortly before his death. Jocelyn was still upset with Dev after he attempted to make amends. Jocelyn had no idea that she wouldn’t have time to forgive Dev for his harsh words to her days before. Dev was just a teenager, much like Oscar Nero (Garren Stitt) when he was killed in the Floating Rib explosion. There is no way to make up now. There is no going back. What advice will Sam give Jocelyn to deal with Dev’s death and her feelings for Cameron Webber (William Lipton)?
