Don’t Test Me On This!
In the General Hospital preview clip for Monday, May 10, you can literally feel the tension as the two brothers butt heads-Jason’s stone faced while Drew’s full of anger, and he gives Jason a warning.
He tells Jason, “You would be very wise not to test me on that!” and chances are, the argument is about Drew walking back his restraining order against Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn).
Danny and Scout Cain (Kayden Brenna Tokarski) are very close, and other than Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) and their aunts, they’re all each other has of their mother!
The two men may have started out as identical twins, though separated at birth, but they couldn’t be more different.
Of course, Drew wasn’t raised under the best of circumstances, especially not as a toddler-he never talks about his adoptive parents, but the name Cain had to come from them.
Scout, Danny And Rocco Lived As Brothers And Sister For A While When Sam Was Alive
Scout, Danny, and Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr) lived as brothers and sister for a while, when Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) was alive and she and Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) were together.
Dante had Charlotte Cassadine (Bluesy Burke) part of the time too, until Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) took her with him.
This, of course, was when Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening) was still in a coma, and before she needed the transplant. And then after Sam died, it was even harder for Danny and Scout to be apart, and it was tough when they were separated from Rocco and Charlotte, as well.
Each Child Has Had Their Father Disappear And Be Presumed Dead-Danny, Twice!
Jason might bring up the fact that both Danny and Scout have had their fathers disappear and be presumed dead, Danny, twice! The last time Jason and Drew acted like brothers was on Cassadine Island, when Jason was presumed dead the last time, when the tunnel collapsed.
Plus Scout had to endure Drew being in prison, which he did to save Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) from doing time for insider trading-as Jason found out when he came home the last time.
Jason will try to get through Drew’s hard head, but he might need a gigantic nutcracker to do it! What the two of them really need, and perhaps their children as well, is family therapy-but where’s a psychiatrist when you need one?
