General Hospital spoilers say that he might be gone, but that certainly doesn’t mean he’s been forgotten.
Is Lucky Coming Back?
Of course, we are talking about Lucky, as there’s a lot of speculation online suggesting that the character is going to be recast sooner rather than later – and that’s a good thing, of course!
Seeing how actor Jonathan Jackson can’t commit to the role, fans still want to see Lucky back as he is definitely a legacy character and too important to keep off screen at the moment.
After all, his mother Laura is going through so much and she’s in serious danger. Having Lucky back gives Laura some much better support and backing. It would be great to see Lucky reunite with his buddy Isaiah and take Sidwell down together, right?
Clearly, GH fans had a lot to say about the matter on social media. Some even commented with, “Having Lucky back gives Laura some much better support and backing. It would be great to see Lucky reunite with his buddy Isaiah and take Sidwell down together.”
“GH has done a really good job with re-casting lately. Michael, Charlotte, Lulu, Jack and Emma. The character of Lucky has been recast in the past twice. I’m sure the casting department can find a great new Lucky.”
Another critic of the show wrote, “Not unless they enrich his character. He was a dud on the last return, the character and the actor. I wasn’t watching back in the days when JJ was originally on the show.”
Who Should Play Lucky?
“So when he returned I was all set for this great charismatic guy and he was not that at all. Probably an unpopular opinion but I just don’t get what the buzz about JJ is.”
And then there was this comment as well: “My first introduction to lucky was was when Jacob Young portrayed him. I enjoyed the Greg Vaughn recast. He had a lot of major storylines, marrying Liz, drug addiction, affair with Maxie, fling with Sam.”
“Those were the good old days lol. I actually never watched the show when JJ was on so I don’t get or understand the hype other than he was actor who originated the role.”
