General Hospital Spoilers: Is Harrison Chase Leaving Port Charles For Good?

General Hospital spoilers and updates for the week of February 23-27 suggest that Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) might be leaving town. His life is on the verge of falling apart in the coming days, so let’s delve into his circumstances and potential departure.

There Have Been Rumors Of Josh Swickard’s Exit

To begin with, there have been whispers circulating on social media and various online platforms indicating that Josh Swickard could be exiting the ABC soap.

While neither General Hospital nor Swickard has officially confirmed any departure, it doesn’t rule out the possibility. Additionally, it’s sweeps month, specifically the final week of February, which means Chase’s departure from Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) and Port Charles could serve as a shocking twist.

This would conclude an action-packed month on GH; after all, once Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) addresses him regarding the keychain incident, tensions are bound to escalate.

And they did-Michael and Chase got in a fight in the Quartermaine mansion, inevitably putting a strain on his marriage; Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) broke it up!

Michael Was Summoned To The Police Station

In the episode aired on February 19, Michael was summoned to the police station after Drew Cain’s (Cameron Mathison) house key was discovered on his key chain.

When the PCPD recently visited the Quartermaine mansion, Michael willingly handed over his key chain, confident that it would reveal nothing incriminating.

However, he was unaware that Willow Cain (Katelyn MacMullen) had secretly attached Drew’s house key to it.

Around the same time, Chase stumbled upon Michael’s keys lying on the floor of the Q mansion and took it upon himself to check if Drew’s key was among them.

Upon discovering it was, he returned the keys to the floor, oblivious to the fact that Wiley Corinthos (Viron Weaver) had witnessed him with his father’s keys.

Wiley Told Ric About Chase Having The Keys

Wiley brought this up to Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) during Thursday’s episode, which led to a twist when Michael was called to the station and required legal representation.

Ric casually entered and disclosed this crucial information, leaving ADA Justine Turner (Nazneen Contractor) quite flustered. Regardless of whether the police suspect Michael of shooting Drew, they cannot use Drew’s keys as evidence due to Chase’s interference.

Chase not only had possession of the keys but also encouraged Nathan West (Ryan Paevey) to delve into this aspect of the investigation. Although Chase didn’t technically tamper with or place Drew’s key on Michael’s key chain, he still appears quite suspicious.

Chase Can Say Goodbye To Any Hopes Of Being Reinstated As A Detective-Maybe Worse!

Chase can also bid farewell to any hopes of becoming a detective once more. It’s difficult to determine just how upset Brook Lynn will be with Chase regarding these actions, as the two have previously clashed over his desire to clear Willow’s name.

Willow was cleared, even though fans are aware she’s the one who shot Drew, which may leave Brook Lynn confused about why Chase would persist in investigating a case he was removed from.

It appears that Chase is determined to see justice served, and in doing so, he has crossed a line. This doesn’t justify his actions, and he has also been influenced by Willow, which adds another layer to the situation.

Will Chase Face Firing And Maybe Divorce, And Exit The Canvas This Week?

Nevertheless, with no position in the police force and his marriage in disarray, will Chase exit the canvas this week-are the rumors regarding Josh Swickard’s departure from the soap true? General Hospital spoilers indicate that Chase might choose to visit his brother, Dr. Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton), to escape the turmoil, so could this be how the former cop wraps up his storylines? Or will he involve himself in another situation playing hero that he has no business doing, and possibly be shot at or worse? Also worth noting is that in real life, Josh and his wife Lauren Swickard just had a new baby-maybe he’ll just take some family time leave like his castmate Steve Burton (Jason Morgan) did.
