General Hospital Spoilers: Is Eddie the New Mike? Nina Sure Seems to Think So
General Hospital spoilers reveal fans are feeling a bit of a reboot coming on. Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) has just awoken from his coma, but he believes he has his 90s rock persona, Eddie Maine. His family is in shambles and reeling from the news, unsure of what to do. In reality, they can’t do anything but wait and pray that Ned comes back to his senses someday. It could be a long time, per the doctors.
When Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) invited Eddie to stay at his place, he took Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) by surprise. This is the last thing that she needed. Ned knows the truth about what she has done to Carly Spencer (Laura Wright), and she can’t let Sonny happen upon that truth. Will Nina plan to use the opportunity of living in close quarters with Eddie to convince him that he’s right where he needs to be? It sounds like a new “Mike” has entered Nina’s world, but honey, this is not Nixon Falls.
General Hospital Spoilers — What Made Sonny Come Back?
Reverse engineering the situation might work out well for Nina. She has to think back to her time in Nixon Falls and determine what exactly made Sonny resurface. It seems that the stress and trauma of being caught in the fire at the Tan-O served two jobs for his memory and brought him back to himself. How is she possibly supposed to make sure that Ned doesn’t undergo any kind of trauma — physical or otherwise?
GH Spoilers Hint Nina Seeks to Squash Ned’s Memories
Regardless, Nina is going to do her best to squash any memories of Ned that could be floating around in his mind. She’ll start by making sure she warms up to him as his new best friend. It’s clear that Eddie loves to have his ego stroked, and Nina will go out of her way to do just that — of course, only when Sonny isn’t around. However, this could lead Eddie to believe that Nina is flirting with him when her fiancé is out of the room. Does that mean that he will make an advance toward Nina and that she will feel forced to oblige if she needs to keep him under control? Nina is looking at digging this hole even deeper, ladies and gents.

It’s possible that things won’t work out for Ned the way they did for Sonny. It’s very possible that Eddie may be here to stay, and that we will never see Ned again. Could Nina and Eddie end up riding off into the sunset together? What would that business arrangement look like as Nina shares a hotel with Ned’s wife, Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero)?
