General Hospital Spoilers: Gregory’s Stunning Medical Miracle, ALS Misdiagnosed?
General Hospital spoilers tease that Gregory Chase (Gregory Harrison) seems to be experiencing the symptoms of ALS much more frequently in recent days.
As viewers know, Gregory was diagnosed with the terminal disease several months ago but he is trying his best to live whatever time he has left to the fullest.
He’s gotten quite close to both of his sons, Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) and Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) even as his time left dwindles.
General Hospital Spoilers – Gregory Chase will officiate Harrison Chase’s wedding
But Gregory is doing his best to hang on as long as he can. Chase and Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) have even moved up the date of their wedding so that Gregory can be there.
But Brook Lynn and Chase had another surprise for his father when they asked him to officiate the wedding ceremony. Gregory declined at first.
But was soon convinced as long as there was a backup officiant present in case Gregory had an attack. But Gregory’s symptoms are worsening and he may not make it to the wedding.
GH Spoilers – Hamilton Finn knows Gregory Chase’s symptoms are getting worse!
Finn recently noticed that his father seems to be failing fast. This comes around the same time that Gregory has made an appointment with another specialist.
The specialist may reveal a shocking truth that could change things forever. He may reveal that Gregory doesn’t have ALS after all, but something much more manageable and not necessarily fatal.
Gregory first came to Port Charles in 2018 and Finn diagnosed him with Lyme Disease. Supposedly, it had been cured.
General Hospital Spoilers – Could Gregory Chase Be Suffering From The After Effects Of Lyme Disease!
Because the symptoms of ALS are similar to that of many other illnesses, it can be hard to diagnose correctly. Perhaps what looks like ALS could be related to his previous diagnosis that Finn made originally.
If that’s the case, perhaps Gregory isn’t dying after all and can’t on a treatment program that could alleviate his symptoms.
That could also mean that Gregory might be around to romance both Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) and Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot). Whoever Gregory would ultimately choose is unclear but hopefully he will get a chance to do just that!
What do you think?
Does Gregory really have ALS? Or could there be another explanation? Would you like Gregory to stick around? Anything can happen in Port Charles so stay tuned to General Hospital airing weekdays on ABC.

Yes I want Gregory to stay. Get him well. I think he an Alexis are great together. His sons need him.
I sincerely hope that Gregory doesn’t have ALS, and with the right meds he can live a very long life!! At the beginning I didn’t think Gregory’s acting ability was that great, but WOW was I wrong! Now the woman I’d like to see him romantically involved with would be Tracy! They can pull the Best Out of each other which I love seeing. Tracy needs Love in her Life since the passing of Luke, and Gregory has changed her in so many ways that I truly believe they are the best couple!! Alexis is to involved with her Company, family, and at this point she’s not interested in a Love Connection!! Love both women for Greg, so we’ll have to wait and see Who the Writers choose??
Every time I comment on this site it says that my exact comment from me was already stated which is totally wrong?? So for this site I will no longer reply, apparently they don’t like any of my comments!
This is one spoiler speculation I hope is revealed. GH needs a Gregory type character on its canvas. Have been hoping Gregory was misdiagnosed and that he will remain a part of what is GH. Perhaps if a level headed female is cast, she and Gregory could become the Steve/Audrey of GH. GH has always had one stable couple people could look up to and Gregory would certainly fit the male persona, now just give him a reasonable mate (none on canvas at this time in my opinion).
I have always been a huge fan of “Gregory” and hoping a misdiagnosis would allow him to remain. It’s so nice to see a normal, well-rounded gentleman on the scene! I first thought he and Alexis looked like they would be good together, even though I’m not a huge fan of hers, but I also just love the effect he’s having on Tracy! It’s lovely to see! May the best woman win!!
keep Gregory alive and getting bettrr. Great addition to show. Love him with Tracey. Lets get Sonny back with Laura.
NOT Ava or Nina please.
I hope that GH changes script and keeps Gregory for a very, very long time. I Love him with either Alexis or Tracy. I also appreciate having more actors around my age to watch. AND please keep the actor who plays Gregory. He’s great in this part.
