General Hospital Spoilers: Gregory Harrison Upped to Contract Status

Gregory Harrison is finally on contract as Gregory Chase according to the closing credits of General Hospital.

Harrison, an American actor is probably best known for his role as Chandler in the 1987 film North Shore. He has been acting for many decades and is credited with work in the Hallmark channel series of Signed, Sealed and Delivered movies as Joe O’Toole. He also played Chesapeake Shores’ Thomas O’Brien and Dr. George Alonzo on Tapper John.

Gregory Harrison Joined GH in 2021

Harrison joined the cast of the ABC daytime soap opera in 2021. He was introduced as Gregory Chase, the father of Chase (Josh Swickard) and Finn (Michael Easton) and the grandfather of Violet (Jophielle Love). He has been recurring on the show with Kim Delaney who played Jackie Templeton. She has not been seen on the show for quite a while and many fans were of the opinion that the story was being backburned.

Luckily, some great news were revealed at the end of the GH episode on June 3 2022 when the closing credits of the show aired. Eagle-eyed viewers would have noticed that Harison who was back on the show recently is now listed among the contract cast members. We are happy to hear this news as we couldn’t help but notice the chemistry between his character and Nancy Lee Grahn’s Alexis Davis. We are already invested in them as a couple and hope the show pursues writing for them as a pairing.

Of course, there is so much more to learn about Gregory Chase. With him being on contract it could only mean the show would be writing more for him and viewers are about to learn so much more about his past and other connections.

    Well hopefully this will mean some new and interesting storylines because the current ones have gotten beyond old. They are downright disgusting. GH needs to get back to the caliber of writing the viewers have been accustomed to for so many years.
