General Hospital spoilers and rumors tease Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) could face suspension and heartbreak after a deadly drunk driving crash. Even though his family and friends have found he’s drinking and saying he’s not, he’s exhibiting standard addict behavior and won’t stop.
General Hospital Spoilers: Finn Pushes People Away Or He Lies To Them
The spiraling worsens after Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) walks in on his brother drinking, after he’d poured out the whisky he’d started on.
That had been a well-meaning gift from Brook Lynn Quartermaine Chase’s (Amanda Setton) grandparents after Finn helped her grandfather at the wedding reception.
Finn’s been told that he needs to go to meetings, although previously alcohol wasn’t his addiction; it was fen-fen, a street drug he’d used to manage his Huntington’s Syndrome.
Previously, he went to Narcotics Anonymous meetings, but although he did reach out to Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) about his drinking slip, he doesn’t seem to want AA meetings.
Perhaps what he really needs is grief counseling but he seems like he doesn’t want that either-like no one else would understand-at least he and Alexis could grieve his father together!
GH Spoilers: The Spiraling Worsens
The spiraling only worsens, as Finn continues to push friends and family away and engages in self-destructive behavior.
Elizabeth Baldwin, (Rebecca Herbst) who he’s been in a long-term committed relationship with finds out he’s cheating on her-she discovers the tryst with a woman named Barb (Devon Ogden) unexpectedly.
She walks into Finn’s apartment to check up on him and sees them together on his couch-is she a pickup from a bar, or a nurse from GH?
Obviously, Liz is furious and intends to work with Chase and Brook Lynn to get Violet Finn (Jophielle Love) out of Finn’s home for her own safety! They worry about Violet thinking she’s lost her dad right after her beloved grandpa, but something must be done!
General Hospital Spoilers: Finn Wrecks, Barb Killed, Consequences Follow?
Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) is already aware that Finn took a drink-one drink-because Elizabeth previously unburdened herself and told her, although she took no action against him.
But she’s well aware of Finn’s past failings and his addiction to fen-fen several years ago before she came to work at GH, it’s all in his employee file.
Suddenly, on a night Elizabeth’s not scheduled there’s a terrible wreck with fatalities, and she sees Finn on a stretcher coming in and a mangled body DOA.
Next comes Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) tasked with investigating the wreck and questioning Finn since Chase is too close to the family.
More heartache for Finn’s family comes as Portia suspends him, he’s arrested for drunk driving and vehicular homicide, Barb was in the car with him and killed.
