General Hospital (GH) spoilers show that Evan Hofer (ex-Dex Heller) is coming back to ABC in an exciting primetime role. GH fans have missed Dex since the character was killed in December 2024, but the great news is that we can now see the handsome and talented star soon.
Even Hofer Has a New Role
Evan Hofer teased his upcoming 9-1-1: Nashville appearance on Instagram and let fans know they can catch him on Thursday, February 26.
Hofer has a guest part, and it marks his ABC comeback after leaving GH. This fun news elicited excited replies from several costars.
Tabyana Ali (Trina Robinson) wrote “IM WATCHING FOR E!!” and Michael Easton (ex-Hamilton Finn) vowed to watch his former costar.
Jacqueline Grace Lopez (ex-Allison Rogers) made a joke about having to look at her schedule but we’re pretty sure she will be tuning in with the rest of us!

Once again, be sure to check out the former daytime star on Thursday night at 9:00 p.m.
But wait, there’s more! That same episode stars The Young and the Restless former star, Hunter King (ex-Summer Newman). She is also in a guest spot, so daytime fans will have plenty to watch and enjoy.

GH has a habit of bringing back dead characters so would Evan Hofer ever return? There is nothing to indicate that he nor the show are considering such steps, although it would be nice to see the thespian back on daytime.
Dex’s death hit Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) hard, and in part led to her current WSB storyline.
Joss joined the WSB to do good in the world, and mentioned that that was what Dex was trying to do and what he would want for her, too.

After all, Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) and Nathan West (Ryan Paevey) are back from the dead, and having their way in PC at the moment. returned from the grave, anything is possible.
