General Hospital Spoilers: Can She Risk Letting Her Mom Be In Her Life?
Recently, Carolyn Webber (Denise Crosby) came to Port Charles after being called for a consult by Nikolas Cassadine (most recently Marcus Coloma). Before going over to Wyndemere Castle to talk to him, she’d stopped by Kelly’s and saw her daughter. Carolyn and Elizabeth talked more than they had in many years, and a couple of things seemed on the way to being worked out.
Later, Laura Collins (Genie Francis) and Elizabeth also talked after Carolyn had left, and Elizabeth had asked her could she risk trusting her mother. She told Laura that she had always been the mother that she wished she had, Laura asking her if Carolyn was trying to make amends, which she was.
GH Spoilers: Carolyn Webber Warned Elizabeth Baldwin
According to General Hospital spoilers, Carolyn had warned Elizabeth about Nikolas Cassadine (most recently Marcus Coloma) after he had tried to hire her to make Esmé Prince’s (Avery Kristen Pohl) amnesia permanent. Carolyn was very concerned that Nikolas told her she needed to do this to protect Elizabeth, not understanding how she could possibly be involved in whatever happened to Esmé.
Truly, she had not been – she only gave her maternity care while Nikolas had her captive in the north tower of the castle. Carolyn doesn’t think Elizabeth should be endangering herself to protect Nikolas, who she deems a criminal, but because Elizabeth knew about the situation she could be considered an accomplice. Carolyn was horrified when the much older man claimed he was the father of Esmé’s unborn child, Jeff Webber (William Moses) never did anything that bad, however-his mistresses were his age!
General Hospital Spoilers: Carolyn Webber Is Acting More Like A Mother
Elizabeth’s instincts are telling her to work with her mother to try and work out their past problems, because she’s acting more like a mother should than she ever has. Carolyn has decided to hang around Port Charles for a little while, even though her psychiatric practice is across the country in California. She may be able to consult on some of Dr. Kevin Collins’ (Jon Lindstrom) cases, and Esmé’s traumatic amnesia is certainly a puzzler as to the cause.
Elizabeth is struggling with telling the whole truth she knows that Esmé jumped from the parapet herself out of desperation – or at least that’s what Nikolas says. Even she is starting to have her doubts that is what really happened, even though she doesn’t want to think horrible things of her oldest friend.
