General Hospital (GH) spoilers point to Diane Miller (Carolyn Henessy) forced to do something desperate to save Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) from being convicted (falsely) of shooting Congressman Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison).
She is exquisite at pulling rabbits out of hats, but even brilliant Diane could stumble into a quagmire she never imagined, one that unleashes incredible consequences in PC.
Let’s look at how her option to put Kai Taylor (Jens Austin Astrup) on the stand could bring calamity to PC!
Who is Kai Anyway?
Kai is a throwaway character so GH would have no problem feeding him to the wolves to save Michael the Chosen One. Of course there is good reason to put him on the stand since he knows the truth—that Willow Cain (Katelyn McMullen) shot her husband.
But having Kai testify opens up all sorts of delicious plot points.
First of all, Kai has never come off as unreasonably bright. Not to bring up the college jock stereotype, but …
Kai Implicates Trina
We predict that if Kai gets on the stand he accidentally implicates his partner in crime, Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali). Why is this important?
Because Trina is a screamy meemy whose mom Portia Robinson (Brooke Kerr) will spring into action to save her daughter.
Portia’s support (interference) could come with a steep cost however.
Portia Miscarries?
Portia and Trina are estranged at the moment, and we predict that Portia would pull out all the stops to protect Trina from whatever the law wants to dole out.
But Portia is also pregnant and at her age it is considered high risk. Fans are worried about Portia carrying the baby to term given all the side drama she’s steeped in re: baby daddy questions.
This is just speculation, but if Portia encounters any more personal turbulence, we predict that the show could write her losing the baby.
In fact, the show may have already shown its hand when Portia screamed out at Trina’s apartment. She only stubbed her toe, but the first thing many viewers thought was that something tragic had happened.
Willow Goes Berserk?
And then there’s the ultimate consequence of putting Kai on the stand, that Willow goes berserk. More berserk than homicidal and maiming behavior.
