General Hospital Spoilers: Diane And Robert Make A Decision About Their Relationship-Friends Or Lovers?
General Hospital spoilers and updates tease Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) and Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) will make a decision about their relationship. Even though they are dating now, they haven’t crossed the boundary from friends to lovers-will they?
General Hospital Spoilers: Back And Forth, On Again, Off Again
Diane and Robert have been back and forth, on again, off again, for over a year now-Diane grew weary of Robert running to the aid of his exes.
First it was Holly Sutton (Emma Samms) and then it was Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) and Diane finally gave him an ultimatum, although she realizes he has a child with Anna.
She knew she couldn’t forbid him access to family members he has through Anna-but she told him she won’t share him; he had to move on or she wouldn’t see him.
They did have a dinner date together before Thanksgiving, and Robert’s granddaughter Emma Scorpio-Drake (Brooklyn Rae Selzer) ate with them. They fielded some questions about how long they’d been dating.
GH Spoilers: Others Can See Mutual Attraction?
Apparently, others can see mutual attraction even if they are having trouble taking things to the next level themselves-for fear on Diane’s part that Robert once again will gravitate to Anna.
Anna, after all, just had a bad breakup with Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) and that rather puts Diane on alert because of she and Robert’s past of non-commitment.
Robert did express a lot of told her so’s since he doesn’t trust Cassadines-none of them, and Diane reminded him Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) has Cassadine blood.
Robert did seem a little too bitter against Valentin for hurting Anna and keeping her in the dark about Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlett Fernandez). Diane knows Anna has been running scared and would never have taken a shot in the dark had she known it was Charlotte.
General Hospital Spoilers: Trial Basis
Diane and Robert’s legal slates are both very full right now, Robert as the District Attorney at times finds himself opposing Diane in court.
They wonder how that will work if they publicly went forward from a friendship to real dating, and perhaps lovers-there could be conflicts of interest.
They have to admit it could become awkward-and they may have to see if they can coordinate so Diane opposes the assistant district attorneys in court.
They agree to see each other and keep seeing where things go, but admittedly, it’s on a trial basis although their friendship will remain intact. One ground rule that has to be in place that they both must honor is never talk work with each other outside of the job!
