General Hospital Spoilers: Delilah’s Tattoo Brings Questions of Willow’s Time with Dawn of Day
General Hospital spoilers tease Delilah’s (Lily Cardone) tattoo has the GH fanbase simmering with anticipation that a long-awaited storyline could come back into the mix.
Yes, I’m talking about the one and only Dawn of Day. This cult classic story arc first brought us David ‘Shiloh’ Archer (Coby Ryan McLaughlin), its leader who was a sinister mad man in search of the cult follower who fled after getting pregnant with his child.
That follower, of course, was Willow Tait Cain (Katelyn MacMullen). I can only imagine what kind of mental unrest Willow might suffer if she knew anyone from that time in her life was slinking around Port Charles again.
Willow is Fragile
Despite the show’s attempt to paint a new face on Willow and make it look like she’s stronger than ever, we know better. She’s leaning on Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) of all people for direction in her life. Every move she makes is rooted in a zest for revenge.
That can’t lead her to any place good. But as she starts to realize the kind of long game she’s in with Drew, she may have too much on her plate to reasonably handle.
For starters, she’s been drugging Drew to keep him in this locked-in state, but that means she has to keep the ruse forever — or silence him permanently. Neither are convenient for her schedule or her conscience.
Chase and Michael Add Another Layer
Willow has been bent on framing Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) for shooting Drew, and she got rather close by planting her house key on his keychain, but Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) unknowingly botched the whole thing.
Now, he may be at risk of losing the career he loves over tampering with evidence and staging that warrant to seize a key that it looks like he could’ve planted himself.
It’s not a good look for a recently demoted detective. Willow could start to spoon out if she thinks Chase is going to pay the price for her misdeed. Can she really handle someone from her past coming back into play — even if she’s dead?
Shiloh is Dead, We Think…
Speaking of dead, Shiloh was recovered from the water after being shot by Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) and falling overboard from the Haunted Star.
But GH loves to rewrite these things all the time, and the writers have certainly done a bang-up job with the more recent characters to return from the dead.
Willow never really seemed to heal from the trauma she endured while she was with Dawn of Day.
Instead, she buried it and moved on, and now all that trauma may be crawling out of the grave to haunt her — starting with Delilah and her baby, who just might end up being Chase’s new daughter.
That begs the question: Who is the baby’s daddy? Keep checking back with us every day for more GH news and spoilers.
