General Hospital Spoilers: Déjà Vu Ahead For ‘Friz’ Lovers-Elizabeth Flirts With Austin?
General Hospital spoilers and updates tease there might be some déjà vu ahead for ‘Friz’ lovers who loved the pairing of Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) and Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth). Even though some viewers never bought Franco’s redemption, they couldn’t deny the chemistry, and soon they’ll get a peek of Elizabeth flirting with Austin Gatlin-Holt (Roger Howarth).
General Hospital Spoilers: Sometimes The Chemistry’s Between The Characters
Granted, sometimes the chemistry’s between the characters, more than between the actors, as happened when they tried pairing Michael Easton with Kelly Monaco. On Port Charles, the chemistry was hot between Michael as Caleb Morley and Kelly as Livvie Locke, but not so much between Silas Clay and Sam McCall! It seems the same thing was tried with Maura West and Roger, as Ava Jerome (Maura West) and Dr. Austin Gatlin-Holt-more friendship, even though she and Franco also were lovers.
However, Austin’s character has kind of fallen flat even though Roger himself was tired of Franco and wanted to try something new. Austin and Franco’s humor is similar, which seems to be his most endearing quality, although the way Roger delivers the lines is quite similar.
GH Spoilers: ‘Friz’ Was Very Popular
Even though the character of Franco had some detractors-those who don’t buy that people can ever change – overall, ‘Friz’ was very popular. And Michael Easton’s latest character, Hamilton Finn seems to be falling flat with Elizabeth thanks to him being written overprotective and overbearing. For some, the chemistry never was there, and even though Liz was also involved with Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) before he knew he was Drew, it didn’t work.
And that’s probably because New Drew is being written so differently than old Drew, so again, sometimes it’s just the writing, and he, Liz and her boys haven’t had much interaction. Old Drew, played by Billy Miller, would have not been distracted by Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) and would have supported Liz and her boys.
General Hospital Spoilers: A Trial Run?
It sounds like during the week of April 17 the GH powers-that-be are giving Roger and Rebecca a trial run as Austin and Elizabeth to see if something clicks. Austin is way less controlling than Finn, even though he’s got a skeleton in the closet-well, no longer in the closet as well and Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss) isn’t a skeleton! And his keeping that secret with Ava is no more than Elizabeth keeping secrets with Nikolas and Finn, when it came to the Peter August (Wes Ramsey) debacle.
But as of now, the problem isn’t Austin, it’s his cousin Mason Gatlin (Nathanyael Gray) so could this trial run preclude Nikolas coming out of his coma as well? It just seems too much of a coincidence for it not to!
