General Hospital Spoilers: Dante Opens His Heart and Tells Chase Lulu Still Holds It

General Hospital spoilers squeal Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) still has room in his heart for Lulu Falconeri (Emme Rylan). He wasn’t exaggerating when he told Laura Colin’s (Genie Francis) he still loves Lulu and always will.

But telling his former mother-in-law is one thing, especially when she had just received potentially bad news about Lulu’s condition.

Confiding in someone else about his feelings and what he’s struggling with is a different story. Is he going to bend Harrison Chase’s (Josh Swickard) ear in search of genuine feedback, or is Dante going Chase tells him what he wants to hear?

General Hospital Spoilers — Is Lulu Near Death?

The big question on everyone’s mind is just how long Lulu has left and if she can pull through this at some point after all. Her doctor didn’t sound convincing when speaking to Laura and Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom). Liver failure is no small feat and Lulu isn’t in any condition to put up a robust fight.

If she is going to die, it may be soon. If not, perhaps we will see her wake up this fall!

GH Spoilers Tease Dante Can’t Break Ties with Hope

For the last four years, Lulu has been in a coma and Dante was forced to move on with his life. Eventually, he found love again. Chase may do well to remind him of that but it’s not as though Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) is far from Dante’s mind. In fact, she’s likely part of what is plaguing him.

The guilt over how he realizes he still feels for his ex-wife may start to come between him and Sam in ways neither of them can really explain right off the bat. Give with time. Dante always thought Lulu would come back to him someday. Giving up on that dream won’t be easy.

General Hospital Spoilers — Chase’s Dose of Truth

Chase will likely sympathize with Dante’s position. He knows what it’s like to be on death’s doorstep, too. He wouldn’t wish that experience on anyone, and he understands how painful it is for those who love the affected person to watch it all play out.

But Dante’s job is to be strong for his son. Stil, Chase knows Dante probably needs a sounding board. Can he continue his life with Sam knowing how he really feels about Lulu — especially if she’s not going to survive? Is he settling for Sam? Is Sam settled for second best?
