General Hospital Spoilers: Dante Encourages Sam to Stay out of Mac’s Mess – Will She Listen?

General Hospital spoilers leak Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) knew it was time to come clean to Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) about the case she has been working on because she needed his advice. But it’s likely that Sam was looking for guidance that agreed with what she had already chosen — to tell Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) to get the heck out of Dodge. When Dante’s advice clashes with what she had planned, will Sam rearrange her opinion, or will she go against Dante’s advice for his friend? Mac Scorpio (John J. York) has no idea that he is Cody’s biological father — nor does Sam. But Dante knows, and he may not feel that Cody is deserving of Mac’s help — using Sam as the middleman.

General Hospital Spoilers — Cody’s Well-Kept Secret

Cody sure is a man of mystery. Most con artists are, and one would think Sam could spot that he’s still up to his old tricks — especially given the company he’s been keeping at The Savoy. Of course, Sam made it clear that this seemed more important to Mac and wasn’t all that important to her.

But Cody is hiding the truth that he is not really Leopold Taub’s (Chip Lucia) son, and he needs that lie to stick since it’s going to make him the recipient to a $10 Million windfall from the WSB. As long as Cody is lying and Sam is in the dark, Dante thinks she should steer clear since she can’t make a judgment call based on all of the information. Of course, he could give it to her.

GH Spoilers Indicate Sam Senses Something is Up

Sam and Dante have been together long enough now that they can tell when each other are bothered by something. In this case, every time Sam mentions Cody, it seems like Dante doesn’t want to entertain the conversation. Now that he knows she’s been investigating Selina and Cody and Mac are both wrapped up in this mess, he’ll want no part of it.

He feels bad enough that he knows Cody is Mac’s son and he has left Mac thinking otherwise. Staying out of it has worked well so far for Dante, so why would he want anything less for Sam? As Cody’s lawsuit against the WSB continues full steam ahead, it’s going to agitate Dante — and Sam will start to question why.

General Hospital Spoilers — Dante Crosses a Line

Dante should know better than to try to hide the truth from Sam, and how does that make him any better than Cody at the end of the day? When Sam starts to get too close to the truth, Dante is going to choose #TeamCody and help his friend cover his tracks. Not only will he be ensuring Mac gets no closer to learning about his son, but Sam will be left spinning her wheels with a case that she knows makes no sense. There is no way the truth about Cody and Mac doesn’t come out eventually, and when it does, Dante will have to contend with telling Sam why he lied to her.
