General Hospital Spoilers: Danny’s Heart Breaks When He Learns The Shocking Truth About Jason
General Hospital spoilers tease that Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) is very protective of her son, Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn), especially when it comes to Danny’s father, Jason Morgan (Steve Burton).
When Jason and Sam were together, Jason worked for mobster Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Bernard) and when that lifestyle became too dangerous in Sam’s eyes, she broke things off with Jason and asked him to stay away from their son.
Jason agreed and a year later, he disappeared and was presumed dead.

Jason was gone for several years until he returned just a few months ago. Jason finally confessed to Sam that he had been blackmailed by the FBI and that’s why he stayed away.
Sam began to feel bad for Jason so she enlisted Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) to hack into the FBI computer system to discover what evidence kept Jason away from his son for so long.
Sam and Spinelli eventually discovered that Jason was actually protecting Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) the whole time.

Sam was furious that Jason sacrificed everything for Carly. He let both of his sons, as well as everyone else who loved him, believe that he was dead. Sam’s current love, Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zomprogna) agreed that Danny should never know the truth.
But secrets have a way of coming out and Sam’s worst fear seems poised to come true. But how will Danny feel when he learns the truth? There’s every chance that Danny will realize Sam was right about Danny all along and disown his father.

But Sam forgets one very important detail about Danny. She’s said many times that Danny is just like his father. He might idolize Jason even more if he finds out just how far Jason was willing to go for his best friend.
He will likely have a lot of questions that Jason will find uncomfortable about his friendship with Carly, but if he tells the truth than there is every chance Danny will understand why Jason did what he did.
No matter how Danny reacts at first, it’s likely that his relationship with Jason will be just fine.
