General Hospital spoilers reveals Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) cannot seem to get a straight answer from anyone close to him about his genetic screening results. Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) was noticeably bothered by the results even though they were the most positive as they could be. Escaping all ten gene markers must’ve been granted to Curtis by the Gods, because this just doesn’t happen from the way Portia made it sound. Is she thinking more than she’s letting on about the results and what they kind mean? Curtis certainly is. He may not have had Portia not mentioned how shocked she was, and it didn’t help matters when Marshall Ashford (Robert Gossett) got teary eyed and left in a hurry. Something is amiss; Curtis can feel it in his bones.
General Hospital Spoilers — Curtis Can’t Stop Second-Guessing
If Portia is worried that Marshall may not be Curtis’ father, why hasn’t she said anything since they reviewed the screening results? This will baffle Curtis. However, he has no idea that Portia is keeping a paternity secret of her own. This is the last thing she wants to talk about, and Curtis is the last person she wants to talk to about it. The whole topic makes her wildly uncomfortable given the secret she’s been keeping.
GH Spoilers Indicate Portia Tries to Feign Support
When Curtis sits Portia down and brings up the subject of genetics and paternity, she just might have a stroke on the spot. Just kidding, but at first Portia may think Curtis has discovered the truth —- that Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) is his daughter, and not Marcus Taggert’s (Réal Andrews). When he continues to explain how unnerved he was by Marshall’s quick exit from Portia/ office, she’s going to breathe a sigh of relief that he’s talking about a different hypothetical paternity secret. As Curtis shares his concerns that Marshall may not be his birth father, Portia will fake all the support he needs in that moment while knowing she isn’t going to come clean about her own lie.
General Hospital Spoilers — Aunt Stella Knows the Truth
While Portia is willing to support Curtis whatever he decides to do, she doesn’t think it’s worth barking up this tree. Convenient? Maybe. Portia might try to reason with Curtis that he would only bring heartache by asking these questions if Marshall now, after they’ve come so far to mend fences. That’s when Curtis will decide to go as Stella Henry (Vernee Watson) instead. Will she share what she knows, or will Stella continue to cover for Marshall?
