General Hospital Spoilers: Curtis’ Loved Ones Worry He’s Not Coping Well With Portia’s Lies

General Hospital spoilers reveal Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) isn’t doing so hot since his wife’s twenty-year-old secret came out — Curtis may be Trina Robinson’s (Tabyana Ali) father. But the devastation that this truth has caused in coming out is nothing compared to what Curtis could manage to do to his own life in the wake of his marriage’s demise. Having another divorce on his plate is not what Curtis envisioned for himself. When he left Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper), the last thing on his mind was falling in love again, but then he reconnected with his old love, Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr). Now, he’s faced with losing her, too, and everything they’ve built together. Will he use that as an excuse to throw away all he has built for himself, too?

General Hospital Spoilers — Curtis Can’t Stomach The Sight Of His Wife

Portia wants to talk; she wants to move forward, but Curtis isn’t having it. It’s not a conscious choice he’s making, though. Rather, he can’t even entertain the idea of having a discussion with her about the ramifications of her decision when he doesn’t even know what the truth really is. He doesn’t know if Trina is his daughter. He doesn’t know if he shares a child with his wife. He also doesn’t know what his life and marriage could possibly look like moving forward, whether they share a child or not.

GH Spoilers Hint Portia Pushes For Progress

Portia should probably expect to be shot down several more times by Curtis. He is hurt and he’s going to take it out on her right now. Not knowing whether or not he will ever reach a place where he can treat her with respect again is killing Portia. Meanwhile, Curtis feels like he’s stuck in purgatory and doomed to feel this way until someone else opens the floodgates and lets him progress with his life. It looks like that person is Trina.

General Hospital Spoilers — Curtis Digs A Grave

Without any picture of his future in sight, Curtis feels lost. He has been blindsided in the worst way possibly by the woman he loves. Knowing he could be linked by Trina to Portia for the rest of his life doesn’t make Curtis feel any more confident about setting his marriage to the side, but knowing he may have to live with the pain of learning Trina is not his — and that Portia could have spared him all of it but didn’t — will cut him to his core. Curtis is going to struggle to find healthy coping mechanisms, and that will undoubtedly leave his loved ones rather worried about him. If he can’t move forward and he can’t go back, he just may drown his sorrows in the here and now and sabotage both his marriage and any chance of a relationship with Trina while he’s at it. Stay tuned for more GH news and spoilers just ahead.
