General Hospital spoilers reveal Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) is left reeling from devastating news about his health. As he grapples with his uncertain future, his ex-wife, Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) will find herself drawn back into his life. This will cause some serious tension and raise questions about who he really wanted to be with before he was shot. Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) has rejected all of Curtis’ attempts to push her away, and she assumed he was doing it out of guilt. It made sense that he wouldn’t want her to feel saddled with a paralyzed husband, but it’s not going to make much sense when it seems like he’s warming up to his ex.

Curtis has been faced with a life-altering revelation — he may never walk again. The news has hit him hard, and he is refusing to accept it. Despite Portia sharing the opinions of several doctors, Curtis clings to hope and seeks a miracle cure. Meanwhile, Portia, grateful that Curtis survived the ordeal, wants nothing more than to bring him home and help him recover. She is struggling to understand Curtis’ resistance, unaware of the internal battle he fights. Curtis tried to ice her out at the hospital but she insisted she wouldn’t allow that and was taking him home. He just might find other ways to ensure that Portia doesn’t want this marriage though.

Portia isn’t going to be happy when she finds out Jordan was in her home with Curtis while she was at work, but it’s looking like that’s how this is going to go down. Regardless, Curtis is longing for some one-on-one time with Jordan to sort through everything that happened before he got shot. Furthermore, he knows he can trust her not to baby him and make him feel like less of a man — the way he feels Portia is treating him. But that doesn’t mean Jordan will encourage the distance between Curtis and his wife and daughter.

Portia definitely isn’t going to tolerate Jordan and Curtis spending time together behind her back. Maybe that was cool once upon a time, but it’s not since she found out Curtis and Jordan kissed. Moreover, she is trying to make her marriage work in the midst of Curtis’ personal crisis, and having Jordan around will only muddy the waters more. Will Portia have to ask Jordan to leave, and if so, will Curtis stand for it? If Portia is going to force Curtis to be in her company, he may decide to make it so unbearable for his wife that she sees herself out.
