General Hospital Spoilers: Curtis Can’t Believe it: Marshall Lied, too
General Hospital Spoilers reveal Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) is about to be blindsided all over again. If it wasn’t bad enough to find out that his new bride had been lying to him for the last twenty years, he’s about to find out his father, Marshall Ashford (Robert Gossett), has been lying to him for the entirety of his life.
Curtis thought he and his father were going to enjoy the benefits of a fresh start with one another. He never thought he would see his dad again, and yet there they are, like old friends. When Curtis learns a painful truth about Marshall, and that it was what really kept him away all of these years, he’s going to be crushed.
General Hospital Spoilers — Portia Lied
Portia’s lie serves as the foundation of this storyline. It’s keeping Curtis on edge; he’s potentially going to lose his grip on sobriety. He isn’t in a good space and one more thing could certainly be what pushes him over the cliff and right back into the world of addiction.
Curtis doesn’t want that, and he’s doing everything he can to manage his own feelings right now — which means there isn’t any room in his head right now to worry about how Portia is feeling. Until he can get a stronger grip on his own emotions and figure out how he wants to move forward, Portia needs to stay out of his way.
GH Spoilers Hint Jordan and Stella Helped Him Get Here
It’s not just that Portia lied that has Curtis so distraught. His family rallied around her and kept his secret — just long enough for him to enter into wedding bliss with her. What a joke! His ex-wife, Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper), already broke his trust during their marriage, and her lies were what spelled the end of it.
When Jordan learned that Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) might be Curtis’ daughter, she pushed Portia to tell Curtis the truth but never tried to alert him herself. Then, his aunt, Stella Henry (Vernee Watson), found out about Portia’s secret and continued to keep it hush. While she waffled on whether to tell Curtis or let him find out some other way, he found out all right. The dire straits he is in now do rest a little bit on Jordan and Stella’s shoulders.
General Hospital Spoilers — Marshall Isn’t an Ally
All this time, Curtis has considered his dad as an ally who is in his corner. That couldn’t have been more apparent than when Curtis found himself at The Savoy on his wedding night, ready to throw in the towel and bury himself in the bottom of a bottle. Marshall talked him out of it. The truth is, Marshall loves Curtis and considers him to be his son, but he’s not. When Curtis finds out that he could be a father, but he doesn’t know his own, it’s going to send his whole world into a tailspin you won’t want to miss. Stay tuned for more GH news and spoilers just ahead so you don’t.
[…] According to General Hospital spoilers, Nina might be the first person Curtis has truly opened himself up to and shared how he feels about Portia Robinson’s (Brook Kerr) betrayal because Nina most certainly isn’t going to judge him for feeling resentful toward her. She can’t imagine a world in which she forgives Carly. How hard it must be for Curtis to think about having a marriage or any relationship at all with Portia now! Nina is going to become a soft place for Curtis to land, especially if he can manage to hide his urges to give up his sobriety from her. […]
