General Hospital Spoilers: CarSon Reunite As Mob War Ignites, Nina Can’t Thug it Out?
General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that CarSon fans could be in for a shock. Are these two star-crossed lovers, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Carly Spencer (Laura Wright), about to bury the hatchet for the sake of safety and family?
A large part of the GH fanbase is not ok with CarSon being divorced and an even bigger segment loathes Sonny being with Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) of all people. His own son Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) is trying to take him down because of it!
Relief might be on the way however as a new threat invades Port Charles, New York, and old loves could find themselves reuniting to save everything they hold near and dear to them. Let’s unpack what might transpire in the coming days and weeks in PC.
General Hospital spoilers: CarSon Alive?
Sonny and Carly have a classic soapy love story which includes break-ups, make-ups, betrayals, kids, and more. No matter what heinous thing happened, CarSon always found their way back to each other.
But when Sonny got amnesia and was presumed dead, Carly married their mutual best friend, Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) and Sonny lived an alternate life in Nixon Falls, PA. Sure, he remembered how to fire a gun and threaten people, but his brains seemed to turn to mush when he hooked up with Nina. He eventually regained his memory, but he then lost his family.
GH spoilers: Michael’s Sonny Vendetta
At the moment Sonny and Nina are closer than ever, but external circumstances could break them apart as explosively as the came together. Sonny just survived a hit, thanks to traitor Dex Heller (Evan Hofer).
They were scoping out the coffee warehouse for a Pikeman meetup when Dex caught sight of a hitman about to take out his boss. He yelled and all heck broke loose as shots were fired. In the end Sonny came out without a scratch while Dex suffered yet another injury due to his association with Sonny. Won’t Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) be happy.

A mob war is busting out in Port Charles and this could draw CarSon back together to circle the wagons and protect the family and the business. Carly knows what it takes to thug it out in situations like these but Nina is a bit more milquetoast.
