General Hospital Spoilers: Carly Risks Her Future Grandchild’s Life While Nina Can Save It

General Hospital spoilers reveals Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) sure knows how to dig herself a good hole. She’s been withholding the truth about Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) being Willow Tait’s (Katelyn MacMullen) birth mother, and now she’s going to have to tell a slew of other lies to cover up the first one she told. When Carly had a DNA test done to confirm or deny whether Harmony Miller (Inga Cadranel) was lying about Nina, it confirmed she was telling the truth — but Carly told Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) it was just the opposite. Now, she’s scrambling to keep the truth hidden so that Drew, Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell), Willow, and most of all Nina don’t know what she’s done.

General Hospital Spoilers — Drew Gets a Detour

When Drew got word that there was a new lead on the search for Willow’s birth parents, he was bursting at the seams with excitement. Carly feigned anticipation and reminded him that she was there to help him with whatever he needed. He was grateful but told her he didn’t want to overwhelm his source.

So, he would meet with them on his own, and he will call Carly afterward — right after he calls Willow to fill her in. Carly isn’t interested in suggesting he doesn’t call Willow and get her hopes up, because she knows she’s going to make sure there’s nothing new for Drew to report as she plots to sabotage his search.

GH Spoilers Tease Willow’s Cancer Comes to Light

In the midst of the search for Willow’s birth parents, the truth is going to come out about why she’s really looking for the people who gave her life. Willow isn’t sympathetic to needing to know where she came from in order to be able to move on with her life. She would appreciate the medical information her birth parents might be able to supply, but she’s content to live without it, too. Willow is desperate to find her birth parents because they are her best and possibly only shot at getting a bone marrow transplant, which could be required to save her life and that of her unborn child.

General Hospital Spoilers — Carly is in Too Deep to Turn Back

Carly is going to be shocked by this news, as will everyone else in Michael and Willow’s family. All this time, Carly thought she was just burying a secret no one ever wanted to know anyway. When Willow changed her mind and expressed an interest in knowing her birth parents, Carly assumed it was nothing serious and that Willow wouldn’t be terribly disappointed if she never found them. Moving forward knowing that Willow may need to know Nina is her mother in order to save her life is going to make it much harder for Carly to stomach her plans to make sure she still never finds out. Nina could save Willow’s life, but Carly could lose Willow, the baby, Michael, and Drew in the process. Has she already lost herself in this mess? Stay tuned for more GH news and spoilers as they become available.
