General Hospital Spoilers: Carly Opens Up To Sam, She’s Very Afraid For Drew
General Hospital spoilers and updates tease Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) will open up to Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) about her fears. She’s very afraid for Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) if her and Alexis Davis’ (Nancy Lee Grahn) plan to expose and pressure the judge doesn’t keep him from going back to Pentonville.
General Hospital Spoilers: The Power Of The Press Is A Long Shot
Sam knew, of course, that Drew had been beaten in Pentonville and brought to GH, but she was so involved in helping Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) she didn’t know how severely. The power of the press is a long shot, but Alexis thinks it might work and Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) sees merit in the plan.
Unfortunately, Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) protection inside Pentonville doesn’t work anymore, Drew’s beating proves disloyalty in his organization; he just doesn’t know who or how many.
Considering Drew took a plea bargain, this makes it much more difficult to appeal for a retrial with a possible change of venue, let alone vacating the sentence. They do have all the proof they need that Judge Albert Kim (Kurt Yue) has been taking favors and influencing those who can further his career.
GH Spoilers: Drew Cain Is Still In General Hospital Under Guard
Drew is still recovering from the severe beating that could have taken his life-he had lost a lot of blood, plus there were internal injuries. There was danger a shard of bone from a broken rib could have killed him, but luckily, they were able to remove it.
The problem is, Carly tells Sam, is the timing-can they get the case review into court quickly enough to prevent Drew from being returned to the prison? That is certainly a question, and there’s a danger whoever tried to kill Drew on the inside may finish him off, especially if he’s returned in weakened condition.
General Hospital Spoilers: Sam McCall Is Worried Too
Sam is worried too, and especially for her and Drew’s daughter Scout Cain (Cosette Abinante). The last thing anyone wants is for her to lose her dad again, and especially not for real! She would be very young to have to understand her daddy being dead and then not dead and perhaps dead again-Carly can relate.
When Sonny was missing and presumed dead and returned, Donna Corinthos (Scarlett Brielle) and Avery Jerome-Corinthos (Ava and Grace Scarola) were just as confused. The two women agree it would be terrible if Drew were to die-and Sonny could face danger as well since Drew’s beating seemed related to his actions!
