General Hospital spoilers reveal Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) has been at odds with her best friend, Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero), for weeks. When it appeared that Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) was responsible for turning Carly and Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) in to the SEC, Carly expected Olivia to have her back. Instead, Olivia stuck to her guns and stood by her husband.
This devastated Carly, but she knows that Olivia is suffering much more than she is right now — practically losing her husband as he is suffering from an identity crisis and believes that he is a rockstar named Eddie Maine (Wally Kurth). Carly is going to take a major step in the coming weeks to make amends with her bestie, and they’ll come back together just in time to keep a close eye on Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) — who will be making major moves in Eddie’s direction.
General Hospital Spoilers — Carly Brings Comfort
Olivia is going to welcome Carly with a warm reception. She has missed her best friend and needs her now more than ever. While she will recognize that Carly is holding onto some animosity about Ned, she knows Carly’s heart. She trusts that Carly would never want this for her and she is going to allow her back into her life, not out of vulnerability but because she never wanted her to be gone from it in the first place.
GH Spoilers Hint Nina Comes Around
Carly and Olivia will both be acutely aware of how much Nina seems to be taking an interest in Eddie and his success. While the Quartermaine family remains devastated but hopeful that Ned is going to come to his senses, it will seem as though Nina is focused on helping Eddie find himself as a rock superstar. This isn’t going to sit well with Olivia, but fortunately, she will have Carly on her side the next time she has to contend with her business partner.
General Hospital Spoilers — Olivia Questions Everything
Olivia is going to be beside herself with grief and might be too buried in her own feelings to notice how much of a threat Nina could pose to Ned’s recovery. But Carly is going to have her back during her time of weakness. She won’t let Nina get the best of Ned or Olivia, even if it means upsetting Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) in the process – as she and Nina are supposed to be playing nice.
However, when Olivia starts to recall how Nina meddled in things when she wasn’t talking to Carly, and how she influenced her to call Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) out regarding the investigation with the SEC, she may start to wonder whether Nina has had her eyes on Ned for longer than anyone has known. Will this lead to more questions or a pointed conversation with Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) and Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) about the Metro Court video footage? Stay tuned for more GH news and spoilers just ahead.
