General Hospital Spoilers: Cameron Mathison Chimes In On Drew Cain’s Feud With Nina Reeves
General Hospital (GH) spoilers note that Drew Cain’s rivalry with Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) is continuing to heat up. Will there be an end to this “back-and-forth” revenge?
Actor Cameron Mathison recently caught up with Soap Hub on the red carpet for the 31st Annual Movie Guide Award and offers his insights on this interesting feud.
GH Spoilers: Cameron Mathison Is “Having Fun”
GH spoilers indicate that Drew has become a changed man since leaving Pentonville. He’s no longer the Mr. Nice Guy everyone in Port Charles has gotten used to.
Drew’s been clashing with Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) about sending Scout Cain (Cosette Abinante) about boarding school, and Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) has also picked up on his new edge.
Moreover, since he found out Nina was the one who tipped SEC, his anger has been directed toward her; however, things were a bit dicey for a little while between him and Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) for a little bit, as he kept Ms. Reeves’s SEC secret under wraps.
While Drew’s erratic behavior has rubbed some fans the wrong way, Cameron tells Soap Hub that it’s been “fun” bringing new shades to the Drew character. He adds that it was fun to create some “friction”.
GH Spoilers: Drew Is Not Letting Go
Cameron goes on to tell Soap Hub that as Drew got attacked at Pentonville, he’s developed PTSD, and feels like it is all Nina’s fault. Mathison notes that he wants to get back at Reeves, and he’s not going to let go; even though Carly does.
GH spoilers hint that Drew’s need for revenge, and Carly’s need to live a peaceful live, will cause issues within the Darly romance. Still, is there anything else that has changed Drew since his prison stint?
Cameron goes on to say, his character realizes that life is short. Here’s hoping with this new outlook, he also has an epiphany about the negative impacts of revenge!
The Great American Family (GAF) network will broadcast the 31st Annual Movie Guide Awards, on Thursday, March 7 at 8 p.m. ET. The show will be hosted by Danica McKellar from the Wonder Years and Trevor Donovan (ex-Jeremy Horton, Days of Our Lives).
