General Hospital Spoilers: Brook Lynn Panics Over Marriage Pressure, Will She Be A Runaway Bride?
General Hospital spoilers and updates tease Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) panics over Harrison Chase’s (Josh Swickard) unexpected marriage proposal.
First she felt family pressure and ushered Gloria Cerullo (Ellen Travolta) to the door, then Lois Cerullo (Rena Sofer) brought up the idea and now Chase proposes and Brook Lynn panics!
General Hospital Spoilers: Marriage Shy
Brook Lynn went on and on to her mother about how Chase and she were perfectly happy the way they were, living together but Lois kept up her pressure. Although Lois brought up the point marriage would be the next step, Brook Lynn seemed to disagree-even to Chase, who she apologized to, him saying there was no need for apology.
But Chase seemed to agree with Grandma and Mama Cerullo’s ideas, because that’s when he got down on one knee and proposed, right there in the Quartermaine kitchen!
Brook Lynn didn’t squeal and hug Chase and give him an immediate yes, she seemed extremely marriage shy, like she thought marriage would kill their relationship, not seal it. But Chase has some reasons of his own to push up a marriage commitment to the front of the list, and his are family related as well-just not hers.
GH Spoilers: Gregory Chase’s Time Is Limited
Gregory Chase’s (Gregory Harrison) time is limited, and with his ALS aka Lou Gehrig’s Disease advancing, he’s running out of time rather quickly-he’s grudgingly using a cane now.
Surely Chase would like his dad involved in his wedding, but if there isn’t a wedding pretty soon he won’t be able to, so Chase wants to make sure he can. As for Greg, he’s also been thinking a lot about both of his sons and his granddaughter, wanting to make sure they’re happy and they’ll get along okay when he’s gone.
It would mean a lot if Greg was still functioning fairly well so he could participate in the weddings of his sons, although Chase seems to be closer to that process. Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) has too much to deal with considering the malpractice suit he’s involved in but he’d make time for his brother’s wedding if his isn’t in the future.
General Hospital Spoilers: Things Are Moving Too Fast For Brook Lynn Quartermaine
Nevertheless, things seem to be moving too fast for Brook Lynn and she doubts Chase’s proposal came totally from him-like he’s under pressure from her family. If he were to explain the rush is because of his dad’s advancing illness and wanting Greg to be able to participate, that may make a lot more sense to her. Still, she and Chase will be making an announcement soon so it sounds like she’ll say yes.
But with all the pressure mounting, she could very well bolt at the last minute-especially with Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) returning soon! Tracy may not agree with this marriage at all!
