General Hospital spoilers reveal Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) has been leaving her relationship — or lack thereof — with Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) on the back burner for a few weeks now. Ever since that one awkward jam session at the Q mansion in which Chase showed up with Sasha Gilmore Corbin (Sofia Mattson), Brook Lynn has wrestled with whether or not she has a fighting chance with Chase anymore.
Sure, he came to her in her time of need and is willing to keep up with his music career charade if it means sticking it to Linc Brown (Dan Buran), but he’s not angling for alone time with Brook Lynn, as much as he appeared to enjoy his evening at the gatehouse watching Wiley Corinthos (Viron Weaver) with BLQ. When Brook Lynn sits down with Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) and pours her heart out, she might not like what she hears from Sasha’s business partner and bestie.
General Hospital Spoilers — Brook Lynn Tells All
Brook Lynn has been struggling with her feelings for Chase. What is she supposed to do with them? Just because he walked away and doesn’t want a relationship with her anymore doesn’t mean her love for him is going to go away, and it’s painful to see how distant he has become. She’s doubtful they will even be able to remain friends at this point, so she really doesn’t see a path back to earning his trust or another shot with him. When she opens up to Maxie about this in hope of receiving support, Maxie just might signal that it’s time for Brook Lynn to move on.
GH Spoilers Hint Maxie Lets On That She Knows Something
Maxie doesn’t want to pour salt on Brook Lynn’s wound, but she knows Sasha has been spending time with Chase — more than Brook Lynn is aware of. It’s not the worst that Brook Lynn could imagine, but it does signal that Chase is ready to entertain the idea of being with someone else — meaning, she isn’t sitting at home wallowing over what he lost with Brook Lynn. Should she be? Maxie will try to offer her friend support, but ultimately, she thinks it’s too little, too late to save things with Chase.
General Hospital Spoilers — Has Chase Moved On? Should Brook Lynn, too?
If Chase has moved on, it’s only healthy that Brook Lynn tries to do the same. That’s easier said than done, though. This is a woman who is very used to getting what she wants. Being told no isn’t an option. Brook Lynn always finds another angle, but this time, her old tricks haven’t worked.
Is she truly in love with Chase, or does she just hate that he’s standing his ground and she can’t get him to bend to her will? It’s hard to tell, but we don’t expect Brook Lynn to move on from this anytime soon. Stay tuned for more GH news and spoilers just ahead to find out how she weasels her way into holding onto him a bit longer.
