General Hospital Spoilers: Britt And Cody Bond Over Medical Issues!
General Hospital spoilers tease that Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) may have something in common with newcomer Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) that could bring them closer together, and possibly even a romance. As viewers know, Britt has the marker for Huntington’s Disease. And while there is no timetable for when the disease will become symptomatic, the final outcome is a certainty. The disease will eventually take Britt’s life. Cody seems to have recurring pains as well, which could be a sign that he has a similar condition!
General Hospital Spoilers – Cody Bell will encourage Dr. Britt Westbourne to seize the day!
After Jason Morgan (Steve Burton), Britt has focused most of her attention on her position as Chief of Staff at General Hospital, a position she currently shares with Dr. Terry Randolph (Cassandra James). Ignoring her social life has started to take a toll on Britt, as witnessed by her tirade at the singles mixer. Jason hurt her badly when he ended things with Britt in favor of marrying Carly Corinthos (Steve Burton). But he came through for her more than once.
GH Spoilers – Jason Morgan made a strong impression on Dr. Britt Westbourne!
While they were on the run together, Britt confessed to Jason that she may have Huntington’s Disease. Fearing the worst, Britt had never had a test to confirm her disease. Jason convinced Britt that it was better to know one way or the other so it wouldn’t hold her back from living her life in the here and now. When the test came back positive, Jason and Britt made love. This gave Britt hope that even though her time may be short, she could still live life to the fullest.
Unfortunately, Jason left shortly thereafter and made plans to marry Carly in order to keep rival mob families from striking against the Corinthos empire. Jason told Britt he would still be there for her, but she sent him packing. But when Britt’s mother, Dr. Leisl O’Brecht (Kathleen Gati) was kidnapped, Britt reluctantly accepted Jason’s offer to help Britt rescue her mother, who had been kidnapped by Peter August (Wes Ramsey) and Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy). Sadly, Jason seemingly died during the rescue attempt when the underground tunnels Peter had fled collapsed.

During a conversation with Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zomprogna) and San McCall (Kelly Monaco), Cody nay has been alluding to his own medical issues. Perhaps, like Britt, Cody also has a limited amount of time. Finding someone in a similar circumstance may be exactly what Britt needs. Cody apparently has a love of life and adventure, despite any future medical problems Britt would not only have found someone not only to confide in but maybe take a chance on love again.
