General Hospital Spoilers: Ava and Sonny Might Let Dante Take the Fall With the FBI — But Carly Won’t

General Hospital spoilers spill Ava Jerome (Maura West) is anything if not resourceful, and she’s always looking out for numero uno. If she can cast suspicion on someone else to keep herself out of the PCPD’s crosshairs, she will.

So when Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) finds himself in a precarious position and being questioned by his superiors and the FBI, he shouldn’t expect any leeway be given by those who are actually feeding information to Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard).

He went out on quite a limb to rescue Ava from her own bad behavior and protect Avery Corinthos (Grace Scarola) at the same time, but Ava hasn’t been forthcoming with Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) about the details of what she’s done.

Now that the FBI is curious if Dante could be feeding his father information that the PCPD has on Sonny, only offering up evidence of someone else’s guilt is going to shift their perspective. We can rest assured Ava won’t be serving herself or her alleged allies up on any silver platter, but Carly just might.

General Hospital Spoilers — Ava Keeps His Lips Zipped

Ava isn’t generally a mean-spirited woman. She just has an agenda and she’s sticking to it. Realistically, she won’t even know the police are eyeing Dante for this kind of thing until she hears it from Sonny.

Dante probably won’t go crawling to his pops for help in this sticky situation. Ideally, he’s the last person who should be lending him a hand when the authorities are watching his every move.

But Sonny is going to be stuck between a rock and a hard place — and Dante just might be willing to take the fall if it means protecting Avery in the process. He’s not the only one who will have an opinion about it though.

GH Spoilers Report Carly’s Got Beef

Carly wasn’t happy with Ava when she showed up at her house unannounced to drop Avery off for the next week, at minimum. Mama Spencer is used to being clued in about what is happening within the family, and Sonny gives her that grace.

Ava, however, was in no mood to acknowledge any wrongdoing or tell Carly she had axed Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss). That’s a secret she intends to take to her grave, but Carly knows enough to know that Ava is the problem.

That in itself, could form a very new problem when Carly disagrees with Sonny’s approach of letting Dante pay the price for Ava’s misdeeds.

General Hospital Spoilers — Where Does Sonny Stand?

The truth is, Sonny knows what the feds were going to do because he knew he was being set up the entire time. In return, he was setting them up. He knew Betty Rutherford (Ella Lentini) was a plant placed in his home by an unnamed enemy.

He knew she would lead him closer to whoever that enemy is, and until he unearths their identity, Avery remains at risk. Surely, Dante will be willing to understand that. But that doesn’t mean being penalized and investigated as an officer of the law will be an easy hit to take.

Will Carly follow Sonny’s lead, or is she about to rogue in the interest of outing Ava to take away the leverage she believes these enemies have — thereby releasing Dante and Avery from any risk? Stay tuned for more General Hospital news and spoilers to find out.
