General Hospital Spoilers: Ava And Nina’s Plot-Ava Hides Nina’s Ring, Accuses Pilar Of Theft?
General Hospital spoilers and rumors tease that Ava Jerome (Maura West) might help Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) and herself at the same time, getting an idea from Nina’s frantic outbursts. Ava didn’t find anything she could use to give Mason Gatlin (Nathanyael Gray) about Pikeman, but she may have noticed Nina’s ring-and Nina vents about lying about its whereabouts.
General Hospital Spoilers: Nina Reeves Left Her Ring In Sonny Corinthos’ Penthouse
Nina had left her ring in Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) penthouse, while Ava was left to watch Avery Jerome-Corinthos (Ava and Grace Scarola) and Donna Corinthos (Scarlett Spears). Nina had gone to General Hospital and he’d noticed her engagement ring missing and she lied, saying she lost it down the drain. In the meanwhile, Pilar (Brenda Barbarena) had shown up to collect the children as Ava was still alone in the penthouse, and couldn’t find anything for Mason.
All the while, Ava was on the phone with Austin Gatlin-Holt (Roger Howarth) and later they had a conversation-maybe they needed a new nanny since Pilar was loyal to Sonny. A new nanny loyal to Ava might be a good idea-and when Nina returns and vents about her ring, Ava gets an idea-a reason to fire Pilar.
GH Spoilers: Nina Reeves Could Have Not Been Thinking-Maybe It Didn’t Go Down The Drain?
Ava immediately tells Nina she saw her ring on the counter, so was Nina confused thinking it went down the drain? She and Nina go into Sonny’s penthouse and lo and behold, the ring is not on the counter-Ava had gone in first, slipping the ring in her purse. Nina is now relieved that Sonny’s plumber won’t find the ring in the drain, but where is it now-Ava lies, and says she doesn’t know. Nina and Ava both know that Avery and Donna were upstairs, having fallen asleep when playing with swatches of wedding dress material for Nina’s wedding dress. Ava begins to suspect the nanny, and makes a big deal of it to Nina, and says they need to talk to Sonny about a new nanny.
General Hospital Spoilers: Ava Jerome Pulls A Gladys Corbin
Nina says perhaps she and Ava, since Pilar is Avery’s nanny too, need to confront Pilar and ask some questions before trying to get her replaced. That is exactly what Ava wanted to hear, and they seek Pilar out and start asking if she’s seen Nina’s engagement ring. While Nina is asking questions, Ava pulls a Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) and slips the ring into Pilar’s purse on the way to the restroom.
As the purse is sitting on a counter, when Ava returns from the restroom-where she’s updated Austin on the phone-she bumps into it. As the purse falls on the floor, there’s the ring amongst other contents; now they have all the evidence they need!
