General Hospital spoilers spill Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) knows something isn’t right with her beau, Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart).
She’s never felt so blindsided in all of her life though. She thought Valentin had waited ages to be with her — to have one single shot at making this work.
Hey, so did we! So what gives, Valentin? He finally lands the woman of his dreams — just to betray her, set her up, and ruin her life? Is he being brainwashed?
Is this some sort of side effect of the pathogen Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) administered to him that the anecdote didn’t remedy?
Has he been secretly pining over seeking revenge against her for repeatedly rejecting him over the years?
It seems there are many more potential explanations for his behavior that paint Valentin in a negative light than there are rosy ones, but Anna is hoping she can prove he’s being blackmailed and forced to hurt her to protect someone else who is — and should be — far more important to him: Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlett Fernandez).
General Hospital Spoilers — Charlotte and Valentin Link Up
We saw Valentin sit down with his daughter last week and have a pretty serious heart to heart. The topic at hand? Her disappointment.
She’s tired of growing up in his absence. She’s tired of staying with Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) and Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) because Valentin doesn’t have a place to live.
Can we say that again? Valentin doesn’t have a place to live. Make it make sense! Clearly, the writers are trying to show us that Valentin is doing all he can to keep his daughter safe, and using this ruse of being essentially homeless may be the best way for him to keep Charlotte under lock and key at a police officer’s home where she is safe while he risks everything to keep Anna protected as well.
GH Spoilers Report Pikeman is Still an Unknown
At first, many fans made the connection between Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and thought he must be Pikeman.
But Cyrus proved to us he’s not linked to the federal defense contractor when he sent Betty Rutherford (Ella Lentini) into Sonny’s home to capture evidence on Sonny’s meetings with them.
So who is behind Pikeman and why is Valentin working with them against Sonny? We still don’t know.
General Hospital Spoilers — Anna is Still a Spy at Heart
An eye for an eye and a spy for a spy? Anna is desperate to figure out what Valentin is hiding. Merely bringing the Pikeman contract to Sonny was damning enough, but knowing Valentin was recently entangled with them again was pretty bothersome for her to digest.
Furthermore, he lied about where he was when her townhome was burning to the ground, and she can’t put her finger on any good reason he would do that.
Did he set the fire? Does he know who did? Was it all an attempt to protect her that she hasn’t figured out yet?
Rumor has it Anna is going to follow Valentin soon in hopes of discerning just what he’s up to, but will she really be ready to face the truth that she finds? Stay tuned for more GH news and spoilers to find out.
