General Hospital Spoilers: Anna is in the Clear — But Valentin Isn’t

General Hospital spoilers tease that the reading of Victor Cassadine’s (Charles Shaughnessy) will has left everyone with more questions than answers. The mysterious patriarch of the Cassadine family seemed to be getting the last laugh, even in death. Some recipients received gifts that seemed almost sentimental, causing suspicion that a hidden meaning lurked behind them. Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) received a message during the reading and felt the lingering sense that something was amiss.

As Anna left the reading and headed to the Metro Court, it wasn’t but a minute into her conversation with Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) that WSB agents cornered her — and arrested her. She may have already strong-armed her way out of that debacle, but in the interim, Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) was being primed for a takedown. As Anna tries to put the WSB and DVX in the rearview, it’ll be clear that Valentin isn’t going to be joining her for long.

General Hospital Spoilers — Valentin’s Health Comes to the Forefront

Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) — who could have been Anna’s only potential ally if she hadn’t been able to threaten the WSB into submission — has been handed his own set of problems to deal with, courtesy of his dearly departed dad. Valentin may have thought he left all memories of Greenland overseas, along with any remnant of the deadly pathogen that Victor injected him with.

But Vic never mentioned the long-term effects that could ensue even when the antidote is used. Maybe Victor found a way to change the course of his son’s life forever. As Valentin starts to experience symptoms that he never thought he would again, his life is going to come apart at the seams, and he might just wish he had died in that isolation room.

GH Spoilers Say Liesl Won’t Be a Hero

In Greenland, Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) was able to stow away some of the antidote for safekeeping. Sending Holly Sutton (Emma Samms) in to track it down, Valentin was given the injection and feeling back to his old self again in no time. In the time since, he hasn’t felt any lingering effects and the best of the best at GH tell him he should be in the clear.

But what do they know about a forty-year-old pathogen created by the great Mikkos Cassadine (John Colicos) alongside Victor? What we do know is that Liesl isn’t licensed to practice medicine anymore and is unlikely to be able to replicate the antidote without any access to the lab in Greenland — which has been blown to bits by the WSB.

General Hospital Spoilers — Spencer or Laura Could Hold the Key

Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) was also left with a mystery ingredient that could unlock a whole new world for his family. But what lurks behind the mystery could be good or bad, and Spencer isn’t so sure he should open Pandora’s box. In reality, it’s a safe deposit box, but Spencer knows that if he opens it, he can’t unknow whatever he finds.

Could it lead him to a cure for Valentin, or is this it for Victor’s son — a penalty for not following in his father’s footsteps as Vic always intended him to? On the other hand, Laura Collins (Genie Francis) is about to fly halfway around the world to track down a piece of property no one knew about that Spencer has now inherited. What — or who — might she find there, and could they help save Valentin’s life as his mind starts to erode? Will we see Helena Cassadine (Constance Towers) once again? What do you think? Let us know, and keep checking back with us every day for more GH news and spoilers.
