General Hospital Spoilers: Alexis Runs to Sonny For Support – Has Willow Pushed Her Too Far?
General Hospital spoilers suggest Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) has had it with Willow Tait Cain’s (Katelyn MacMullen) unpredictable behavior.
It’s hard enough to get through each day knowing she helped an attempted murderer go free, but bending to Willow’s demands when she feels she’s going against what is in Emily ‘Scout’ Cain’s (Cosette Abinante) best interests is crushing this grandmother’s spirit.
Previews suggest she’s off to question Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), and I have an inkling she just might drop some intel that helps him keep his son safer than ever — but will it be the end of Willow’s grip on Scout, or the end of Alexis’ relationship with her?
Sonny Has Been Searching
Sonny spent about a year struggling to figure out who firebombed his penthouse apartment, and then who killed Judge Eva Heran (Tessa Auberjonois). Now he’s bent on figuring out how to keep Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) out of the big house for a shooting he had nothing to do with.
Alexis has the dirt on Willow that he needs to prove Michael didn’t shoot Drew — though it’ll simultaneously prove that Willow did.
While she might not get carted off to prison because she’s already been acquitted, the court of public opinion might issue a harsher sentence, and that could serve Alexis well when it comes to taking care of Scout.
GH Spoilers Claim Alexis Keeps Scout Front and Center
While Willow is busy doing Jenz Sidwell’s (Carlo Rota) dirty work, Alexis is still focusing on keeping her granddaughter safe from Drew Cain’s (Cameron Mathison) unhinged wife.
Congresswoman or not, Willow tried to kill Scout’s father, and Alexis’ concerns about her living with her full time are valid.
But Alexis can’t reveal her hand to Willow, who holds all the power over custody of Scout right now. Instead, she may have to have someone else disarm her, and that’s where Sonny could play his hand well.
Willow Isn’t Working Alone
Sidwell has eyes and ears everywhere. I’d be worried that he might find out Alexis is hip to what Willow did, and that could put her at risk of serious harm.
Moreover, if he learns that she told Sonny she knows Willow is the person who shot Drew, all bets are off.
Sidwell will stop at nothing to keep his underground operations a secret, and Alexis is working at a disadvantage because she doesn’t even know he’s the one pulling the puppet strings behind Willow’s new seat in Congress.
