General Hospital spoilers reveal that Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) is sending a very clear message to Laura Collins (Genie Francis).
Now the mayor is desperately trying to convince Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom) to take Ace Cassadine (Karis and Kiernan Barry) out of Port Charles. While this is for the little boy’s safety, could it end up being the biggest mistake the mayor ever makes? Keep reading, and let’s explore the possibilities!
Jenz Sidwell’s Blackmail
After setting up Laura to look like she killed Professor Henry “Hank “Dalton (Daniel Goddard), Sidwell made sure to have a goon secretly take photos. In turn, the villain used these photos to force Laura and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) to follow his orders.
While Laura did get a nice holiday gift with Kevin’s surprise return, 2026 has begun with more trouble.
Charlotte Cassadine’s Troubling Report
Laura is frantic and trying to juggle so much right now. It was really sweet of Charlotte Cassadine (Bluesy Burke) to offer a helping hand to her grandmother. Laura’s instincts told her to keep Charlotte and Ace at home. However, Charlotte really wanted to take the little boy out as it was such a nice day. Reluctantly, the mayor eventually agreed.
When Charlotte and Ace returned, Laura found out that Sidwell had approached them both. In addition, the mayor learned that the villain issued a vague threat toward Ace.
Laura Collins’ Frantic Pressure
General Hospital spoilers reveal that Laura is frantically trying to protect Ace. With Kevin getting a teaching offer out of town, it seems like the perfect solution. So, Laura will really push her husband to take Ace somewhere safe.
However, because Laura is so frantic and under so much pressure, she might be missing important clues that she would normally notice.
Ace Cassadine Kidnapped?
What if Kevin and Ace leave and never arrive at their destination? Going even further, what if it really isn’t Kevin who Laura hands Ace to? What if it’s Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom)?! That would be horrifying and it would be something Laura would never forgive herself for. It could also have her getting closer to Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and doing things she wouldn’t do under ordinary circumstances.
Even though Ryan was shot by Mac Scorpio (Tristan Rogers), soaps love to bring back “dead” villains! It seems it would only be a matter of time, especially with Kevin back right now. It would also involve so many agencies and characters to find the missing little boy.
There was also the report back in May 2025 in which Lindstrom hinted that Ryan could make a comeback. Keep in mind, he was just throwing storyline possibilities out there, but maybe it was a hint, so stay tuned!
