How Could Portia’s Big Day Go Wrong?
With that in mind, let’s look at how Portia’s big day could go wrong; there are at least four ways her baby shower might turn into a disaster.
The first way is that Portia and Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) could clash again, even if they try to get along for the baby.
Jordan might accept the invitation and hope to keep the peace, but the situation with Isaiah Gannon (Sawandi Wilson) could cause problems; it seems there’s a built-in rivalry no matter what they do. That could easily lead to conflict and ruin the baby shower, with it turning into an argumentative mess.
And then there’s the father situation-Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) and Isaiah are going to clash in some way no matter what. Of course, we’re not sure yet whether the baby shower they’re planning is for both men and women, but we can assume it’s ladies only.
Curtis Is Trying To Gather-Or Perhaps Manufacture-Enough Evidence To Get Isaiah Arrested
Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) is trying to gather enough evidence, or perhaps even manufacture enough evidence- for a warrant and arrest Isaiah for a crime he didn’t commit.
One would think a former private investigator and at one time a police officer would know better, but when Curtis gets something in his head, that’s it! If Isaiah gets arrested for fleeing the scene of Jordan’s accident, Portia could get a terrible phone call that ruins the party.
She might have to rush to the police station instead of enjoying her baby shower, and that would really be a joy-killer!
Brook Lynn Helped Set Up Trina’s Showcase, But What If She Lets Her Guilt Slip?
Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) helped set up Trina’s showcase and has been supporting her out of guilt, so she might end up on the guest list.
This could lead to more drama if Brook Lynn says too much at the party; she might reveal something about Isaiah’s innocence and make people wonder how she knows. Even if she doesn’t admit to being the other driver, it could still cause trouble.
Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) is covering up Brook Lynn’s possible culpability in the wreck. Although it hasn’t been mentioned if Brook Lynn’s car is also black and German made, Tracy was having all possible evidence removed.
Portia Could Go Into Labor, She’s In Her Third Trimester!
No matter what happens, all the drama could send Portia into labor, considering she’s in her third trimester. She’s only a few weeks from her due date, so chaos at the baby shower might lead to her giving birth right then and there.
What if her water broke right in the middle of the party-you talk about making a splash! There hasn’t been anything mentioned about possible complications, so as far as we know the pregnancy is normal, but in Port Charles, you never know! This could be the most memorable baby shower ever in Port Charles, but perhaps for all the wrong reasons!
