General Hospital News: Kim Delaney Loves It That She’s Come Full Circle

ABC General Hospital newcomer Kim Delany (Jackie Templeton) says that she loves it that she’s come full circle. And by that, she means that she’s finally back in the one place that she truly belongs: daytime television. Here’s what she has to say.

Speaking to Soap Opera Digest in a new interview, the actress says that even though she’s best known for her All My Children role as Jenny, she certainly has been keeping busy with plenty of roles and opportunities in the television industry.

After leaving daytime television, she went on to star in the series Philly for one season before moving on to CSI: Miami, The O.C., and Army Wives, a show that she says will always be near and dear to her heart. Thankfully though, Kim has found a new home and it’s hopefully one that she will stay in for a long time.

With that said though, Kim says that she loves the fact that she’s come full circle and that she’s now playing a character, Jackie Templeton, that actress Demi Moore originally played many years ago. Plus, everyone at General Hospital has been very welcoming to her so far. She says that she absolutely loves acting and is so happy to be back at work again.

Kim also says that she sees the great work that executive producer Frank Valentini has been doing with the show, too. She says, “I always look to the producer because the work environment always works from the top down.

I’ve only been at General Hospital for a couple of weeks, but everybody has welcomed me, from William DeVry, who I haven’t worked with, to Finola Hughes, who is so gregarious and open, I’m really happy and grateful and I’m having so much fun.”
