General Hospital spoilers and updates tease that Kelly Thiebaud has something to say about her character’s love life. Is the actress’ alter ego, Britt Westbourne, ready to commit again? Is she prepared to fall in love again?
Is Britt Ready To Date?
Things haven’t been doing well lately ever since Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) decided to call time on their relationship. Now, she’s out and about once again, trying to meet and mingle with other people. But is she ready?
In an interview with Soap Opera Digest, the actress said that her character isn’t ready for another relationship. Thiebuad said that Britt is pretending that she’s fine and ready to move on but the truth is that she’s not ready to open up to someone again.
How About A Britt and Austin Pairing?
Britt has been having a lot of interaction with Austin Gatlin Holt (Roger Howarth). As per Thiebauld, she’s having a wonderful time working with Austin. Both characters don’t share that many similarities but pairing them will be interesting.
If they go with this storyline, fans may have the chance to explore Austin’s character. There’s so much that people don’t know about Austin, like where he’s from and what brought him to Port Charles.
But for now, Thiebaud is enjoying the friendship and closeness that Britt and Austin share. The actress also added that it would be interesting to show that a single, badass woman like her character can be successful in her career and love life.
Is Drew A Possible Option?
When asked if Britt will ever consider Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) as a possible option, the actress found the idea very interesting. She definitely thinks that pairing these two characters can happen. However, she may have some reservations since he’s Jason’s brother. But given her history and everything that he’s done in the past, going out with Drew remains an option.
Britt’s Friendship With Brad
Britt doesn’t like it when someone has to dictate who she should be friends with. She’s close to Brad and he’s her friend. She has no idea what will happen with Aunt Selina, who’s eager to keep them apart.
For now, Britt and Brad are sneaking around so they could hang out with each other. She thinks that this will be an interesting storyline.
