General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) may finally be on the mend. Her battle with leukemia has taken quite a toll on her, as well as those who love her. But even with all that she’s been through, Willow has maintained she doesn’t want to form a relationship with her newly discovered biological mother Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros). Nina has begrudgingly tried to follow Willow’s lead, but she knows the two of them have quite a negative history that keeps that from happening.
General Hospital Spoilers – Nina Reeves Got Willow Tait Fired!
When they first met, Willow was an elementary school teacher. At the time, Nina was married to Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) and was Charlotte Cassadine’s (Anasofia Bianchi) stepmother. Charlotte was acting out at the time and Nina didn’t appreciate Willow for calling her out. It got to the point where Nina had Willow fired. This would be enough for any two people to have lifelong animosity. But sadly, that was only the beginning.
General Hospital Updates – Nina Reeves Has Made Many Mistakes!
Nina’s biggest mistake was when she discovered Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Bernard) was alive and living in Nixon Falls with amnesia. Instead of telling Sonny’s family he was alive, Nina chose to keep that fact a secret and instead romanced Sonny. Even when Sonny came home, he couldn’t get Nina out of his system. He left his wife Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright), and is now engaged to marry Nina. Since Willow is married to Carly’s son Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell), her distaste for Nina has only increased.
Willow Tait Will Have A Change Of Heart!
But Willow has been through so much, she will likely come to the conclusion that life is too short. Once she fully recovers, look for Willow to extend a hand to Nina. They may never be close friends but Willow will finally see that Nina loves her and will try to get past their difficult past and finally form a bond as mother and daughter. Michael and Carly won’t be happy, but hopefully, they won’t stand in the way.
