General Hospital (GH) Spoilers: William Lipton Dishes On Trina Robinson Recast
General Hospital’s fans are not the only ones affected when a soap opera character is recast. The actors have to adjust to working with a new person as well. How was William Lipton (Cameron Webber) affected by the Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) recast when Sydney Mikayla left the show?
General Hospital – William Lipton Is Thrilled To Work With Tabyana Ali
General Hospital’s William says he was sad to see Mikayla leave the show. Mikayla and Lipton had become very good friends. However, Lipton, who is working and going to school can certainly understand Mikayla’s decision. Lipton says that Tabyana walked into the role and something clicked. Tabyana has made Trina her own and is doing great in the role.
Lipton says, “It’s been an honor to have her here and she’s been doing so great with all the craziness that’s been thrown on her. This story is not an easy one to just waltz into and she’s been phenomenal. It’s been amazing to work with her and her talent is clear to see for everyone. Especially with soaps, the pace can be very daunting, but she’s been handling it like a champ. She’s amazing!”
General Hospital – Eden McCoy Is Doing Double Duty Too
General Hospital’s Eden McCoy (Josselyn Jacks) is also pulling double duty as well. Eden began college right after high school as well but wants to continue with the show. Lipton admits that it takes some coordination but he is very glad that his school and the producers work together to adjust to his schedule. For now, both Jocelyn and Cameron are sticking around.
General Hospital – Tabyana Ali Is A Professional
General Hospital’s Tabyana is not an amateur. Ali is an actress and writer, known for Horror Noire (2021), The Big Show Show (2020), and A Kid Called Mayonnaise (2017). Ali has stepped into this role and is knocking these emotional scenes out of the park. Ali’s delivery of Trina’s annoyance with the man she has grown to care about has been spot on. Trina and Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) is a very popular pairing that viewers are rooting for. As much as fans love Trina and Spencer, Rory Cabrera (Michael Blake Kruse) is giving the Cassadine Prince a run for his money. Can Spencer when Trina away from Rory before it’s too late?
Rory is putting his job on the line to be with Trina since he is a police officer. Will Trina’s case drive a wedge between them? Will Spencer’s eventual confession of his feelings cause Trina to see him in a better light?

Why do you continue to bring people back from the dead? The only person we want to see back is Jason Morgan. You still take a long time wrapping up stories when they should be but out sooner….take Peter August for example. Our favorite is still Jason and Sam and you went and killed a good thing. If you re trying to get us to believe that Willow and Michael are the next great couple, there is no passion, no connection, no soulmate like Sam/Jason had. ANd if you need to trim the cast, get rid of Marshall. That is a storyline that is boring and going nowhere fast.’
