General Hospital’s Wally Kurth (Ned Quartermaine) doesn’t have a bad word to say about his onscreen mother Jane Elliot (Tracy Quartermaine) no matter how much they fight. Wally was simply thrilled to once again be sharing the screen with such a legend. Tracy’s visit was short but meaningful.
General Hospital – Tracy Quartermaine Is Back
General Hospital’s Jane Elliot doesn’t find herself in Port Charles very often anymore. Jane retired some time ago but occasionally drops in for a visit here and there. Tracy has unfortunately lost Luke Spencer (Tony Geary), the man she left Port Charles to be with. Tracy has also found herself tangled up with a case involving the stolen Ice Princess diamond that could wreak havoc on all of Port Charles.
Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) seems to be behind Luke’s death which ultimately saved Laura Collins’s (Genie Francis) life. However, Luke’s family is left behind to try to find answers. It also seems that Victor may be the one in possession of the Ice Princess or at least be trying to obtain it. Will the real diamond ever be located? Will Tracy be back to connect with friends and family now that her name has been cleared
General Hospital – Everybody Loves Tracy Quartermaine
General Hospital’s Kurth says that that audience has grown up with Tracy. Jane brings so much energy into the character and the workplace. Kurth claims that he doesn’t think he has ever met a fan who doesn’t love Tracy. I’m sure there were times that people didn’t like her very well though. Kurth says there is just something about Tracy, the character that Jane created, that makes her likable. Wally even admits that Tracy can be unlikeable at times.
General Hospital – Dazzled By Her Magic
General Hospital’s Wally says that the audience is just dazzled by Jane’s magic. Wally admits that when he is working with Jane and is unsure how a line should be delivered, he asks Jane. Wally says he sees Jane about changes too. Sometimes the dialog may be something that Tracy or Ned would not say. Wally admits that Jane doesn’t change a lot but some things are just unnecessary. Sometimes you can make something better with less material and more emotion. Wally says he tries to cut things down himself if it would turn out better in a different way.
Wally admits that he learned a lot from Jane about cutting things down and making them work. Wally also says he misses Jane’s artistry because she is a master in her craft. In other words, Wally simply misses working with Jane because he adores her. Hopefully, Tracy will make another appearance soon.
