General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal Holly getting more desperate than ever to save her son from Victor’s wrath and when she runs into Laura on the pier, Laura better watch out.
General Hospital Spoilers – Is That Necklace Real?
Holly Sutton (Emma Samms) is on the pier ready to give Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) that necklace she stole from Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) after drugging him and all we can hope is that Robert was trying to trick her or he looks awfully gullible.
When Holly tries to evade and get rid of Laura Collins (Genie Francis), things do not quite work out as planned, so Holly impulsively takes Laura hostage, which might not be the best idea considering that Laura is the mayor and can also outwit Holly. It’s not like these two women ever really did get along. The turn of events completely surprised Emma Samms when she saw it in the script.
“Of all people, the queen of General Hospital and daytime,” Samms said in the December 5, 2022, issue of Soap Opera Digest. “Genie [Francis] is so good an actress and just has this lovely and wonderful energy. I said to her, ‘It is just a complete joy to be in a scene with you.’ It was just a shape it was at gunpoint. But story-wise, that’s as extreme as it gets.”
General Hospital Updates – Holly Sutton Kidnaps And Leaves
When this hostage situation doesn’t work out the way she had planned, Holly leaves Laura in an abandoned cabin, but Robert, Mac Scorpio (John J. York), and Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) are in hot pursuit. Holly has to be the clever escape artist she is, with Samms likening her moves to that of Jason Bourne in The Bourne Identity movies.
But even being Jason Bourne does not make things easy for Holly when the cabin she leaves Laura in goes up in a blaze. That’s when things really take a turn.
“The story gets better and better and more and more exciting,” Samms told Digest. “There are more twists and turns than I’ve ever encountered on a soap and that’s saying something.”
With Holly’s returns slated to be short-term, is this the end of Holly for now, and will Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) finally be able to come home and return to Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart)? Stay tuned to General Hospital weekdays to see how this story plays out.

I don't like or understand why Holly would kidnap Laura. I sure hope Robert tricked her & she goes to jail, along with Victor. I hope Laura isn't leaving the show. I sure hope the truth comes out for everything & we can move on
