General Hospital (GH) Spoilers: Sonny And Carly Reconnect After A Very Long And Painful Night
General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Sonny and Carly Corinthos (Maurice Benard, Laura Wright) will reconnect after a very long and painful night in an upcoming episode of General Hospital!
General Hospital Spoilers – Bad News Abounds On A Day When Thankfulness Is Celebrated
General Hospital viewers know that bad news abounds on a day when thankfulness is celebrated. Even as Carly and Sonny are at General Hospital to support Brando Corbin, (Johnny Wactor) his mother Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) and Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) as Baby Boy Corbin (uncast infant) struggles in a specialized incubator in the NICU, they received even more bad news – and news less hopeful! General Hospital viewers know that Baby Boy Corbin’s condition is critical but there is hope for his survival.
But for Jason Morgan, (Steve Burton) this may not be the case. This will be the second time that Sonny and Carly have lost Jason, and possibly forever this time. Sonny and Carly are happy for Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) but their anger burns at Peter August (Wes Ramsey) who has taken so much from everyone! First he kept Jason imprisoned in a clinic in Russia for five years, and now his actions have very likely caused Jason’s death! If Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) had not been kidnapped, Jason would have never went on a rescue mission to Greece with Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) in the first place!
General Hospital Spoilers – Sonny Corinthos Has Not Forgotten His Own Presumption Of Death When He Wasn’t Dead
General Hospital viewers can imagine how devastated and angry that both Sonny and Carly are to hear that Jason is presumed dead. But Sonny hasn’t forgotten that he was alive all those months that he was presumed dead himself – and even the WSB can be fallible. General Hospital viewers will recall that Jason told Sonny when he returned to Port Charles about the searches that had been done and yet all the technology of the FBI and WSB, as well as his own personal search for Sonny had failed to find him!
Sonny’s suit coat and his cell phone and wallet were never recovered after he fell into the river after fighting with Julian Jerome (William DeVry) and they fell through that bridge. Julian’s body surfaced right away, but Sonny was found nearly frozen to death in the snow some miles from the river, on the Pennsylvania side. A hiker had found him and alerted the state police, when Trooper Ralph Finchley (Channing Tatum) brought him to the clinic where Phyllis Caulfield (Joyce Guy) had been working at the time. Sonny puts his people, and Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) searching for Jason as well, because he wants to make sure no stone has been left unturned.
General Hospital Spoilers – Finding Hope Where There Seems To Be None Is Exhausting
For Carly and Sonny, finding hope where there seems to be none is exhausting – Drew tried to dig through the rubble where Jason was last seen but it was too unsafe to stay. Drew reached out to Carly and Sonny as well, letting them know he hadn’t wanted to leave without his brother. General Hospital viewers will recall that Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) had told him, Liesl and Britt that a specialized WSB team with equipment designed to find life had not detected a heartbeat, but Sonny made a good point that cell phones don’t work underground either sometimes.
The team should have used ground penetrating radar to find if Jason was still trapped! It’s possible he could still be alive, although severely injured. After all, people can seem to be dead when they’re not – look what happened to Peter August! After a very long and painful night not wanting to believe Jason could really be dead this time, General Hospital viewers will see Sonny and Carly contemplate the thought even though they don’t want to give up hope for Jason’s survival – yet.
Stay tuned to General Hospital, and keep checking General Hospital spoilers frequently for all the latest news, updates, and developments!
