General Hospital’s Lindsey Pearlman, who played the bartender in the New York scenes with Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Mike Corbin (ex Max Gail) was found dead today. Pearlman was last seen on Sunday at about noon in the 1600 block of North Mariposa Avenue, authorities say.

The General Hospital star was reported missing after she didn’t return home and had not been heard from since noon on Sunday. Friends and family were concerned and reported her missing. The Los Angeles Police Department issues a plea for the public’s help in locating the actress since no one had heard from her.
Unfortunately, at 8:30 a.m. this morning, Hollywood area officers were alerted to the site of a death investigation at Franklin Avenue and North Sierra Bonita Avenue. The L.A. County Coroner confirmed that the body was that of Lindsey Pearlman. Pearlman’s cause of death has yet to be determined. The area of Franklin Avenue and North Sierra Bonita Avenue is due south of Runyon Canyon Park, a popular hiding spot.

About 3 pm today Lindsey’s cousin, Savannah Pearlman, announced on Twitter that the deceased found near the park was indeed her cousin Linsday. Savannah said that Lindsey had been found but it was too late to do anything for her. Lindsey’s husband, Vance Smith posted, “The police found Lindsey. She’s gone. I’m broken. I will share more later, but I wanted to thank you to everyone for their love and efforts. And I ask you to respect the privacy of her family at this time. “

General Hospital’s “Lindsey held roles on General Hospital and Chicago Justice. Her acting credits also included stints on Empire, Sneaky Pete, American Housewife, Selena: The Series and The Purge anthology series. Most recently, she appeared on BET+’s The Ms. Pat Show and Urbanflix’s Vicious in recurring roles.” Lindsey’s webpage states, “Lindsey was described as an “accomplished commercial actor” who graduated from the Second City Conservatory program and received improv training at Upright Citizens Brigade.
While working in Chicago, she appeared in theater productions of The Mousetrap, Trevor, and Never the Bridesmaid, which earned her a Joseph Jefferson Award for Outstanding Actress in a Principal Role.”
