General Hospital (GH) Spoilers: Peter Backed Into A Corner As He Is Caught Red Handed
General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Peter August (Wes Ramsey) will be backed into a corner as he is caught red handed in an upcoming episode of General Hospital!
General Hospital Spoilers – A Dose Of Purported Antidote Doesn’t Work On Harrison Chase
General Hospital viewers will recall that Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) was poisoned with a toxin that Peter August supposedly developed, along with an antidote that he has been taunting Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) and Dr. Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) over as well as Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart). General Hospital viewers will recall a scene with his fake nurse Chloe Jennings (Kimberly J. Brown) he replaced the nurse Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) hired putting a batch of what looked like vials of possibly the antidote, or, perhaps the toxin, into a safe.
This was on the day that Chase’s condition worsened while in General Hospital, and Peter delighted in taunting Anna over whether he would give her one more dose of the antidote or not. Chase recovered for the time being, but then he started becoming very impatient with Finn, and demanded to be released from the hospital. Finn released him into the care of Monica Quartermaine (Leslie Charleson) although he continued to go there to check on him and administer medicines as needed.
One of those times, Finn was confronted by Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) who may have seen a subsequent dose of antidote be administered and Chase getting worse, possibly going into convulsions and high fever again – she may have blamed the secret treatment while Finn would have realized that either there was a bait and switch on Peter’s part on that vial of antidote, or there was a bad batch in the vial!
General Hospital Spoilers – Peter Is Backed Into A Corner As He Is Caught Red Handed
General Hospital viewers will also recall that Anna will have become suspicious of Peter’s actions. She may have caught him at General Hospital lurking around the hospital pharmacy, going in, and coming out with something. The fact that Fake Chloe put a bunch of vials in a safe the same day as Chase’s previous relapse may indicate that she too is in on the toxin and the antidote, and so may be Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober).
General Hospital viewers will recall that Cyrus and Peter have been working together, and Cyrus has drug manufacturing facilities where he has had his street drugs and the ramped up opioid he tried to get the board of General Hospital to push to the FDA made. Cyrus very well may be the source of Peter’s toxin and antidote as well! Anna, suspicious, tails Peter as he goes about his “rounds” after alerting both Finn and Valentin. General Hospital viewers know that if Peter is switching vials of antidote, possibly even for vials of the toxin, he wouldn’t just go over to the Quartermaine mansion and sneak in Chase’s room there-or would he?
Peter might, even though his taunting over the antidote is primarily to keep Valentin and Anna under control, as and Finn since he has figured out that he was the real target. The fact that Chase got the poison is to Peter and Cyrus’ advantage, because that is one less cop in their hair! Anna loses the trail momentarily, but then catches up to him again…she had to hide because he was starting to realize someone was after him.
She is shocked to see him break into a largely vacant wing of the Quartermaine mansion, where she follows him as he heads to Chase’s room – only to be met by both Finn, who has gone to check on Chase, and Valentin! Anna, Chase, Valentin, and soon Monica demand what he is doing there and what he has in the vial they see him take out of his pocket as he nears Chase! Had Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) not been on the hunt for Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) Peter would have been arrested on the spot!
