General Hospital (GH) Spoilers – Jeff Webber is determined to see Elizabeth Webber!

General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Jeff Webber (last played by Richard Dean Anderson) is determined to reach his daughter, Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst). He tried using Dr. Terry Randolph (Cassandra James) as a go-between, but Terry made it clear when Jeff called that if he wanted to find anything out about his daughter, it would be up to her to tell him.

General Hospital Spoilers – Why does Jeff Webber suddenly take an interest in Elizabeth Webber?

Jeff’s sudden interest in Elizabeth’s life is a matter of too little, too late. Elizabeth has been through so much ever since her parents shipped her off to Port Charles all those years ago. Jeff didn’t show up when a teenaged Elizabeth was raped, or for any of her marriages, nor the birth of any of her children. He told Terry that he heard, Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth), Elizabeth’s husband had been murdered and wanted to reach out.

GH Spoilers – Elizabeth Webber ignored Jeff Webber’s voice mail

When Jeff called Elizabeth shortly after Franco died, he left a voice mail which was promptly ignored. He didn’t try again for several months until this recent call to Terry. Look for Jeff to call Terry again and pass along a message. Jeff will likely intent on coming to Port Charles if he can’t reach Elizabeth by phone? Elizabeth will wonder why now? She certainly doesn’t want him in her life. But maybe Jeff has been given some bad news!

General Hospital Spoilers – Is Jeff Webber dying?

Perhaps Jeff has been given some medical news that changes his perspective. He may have always believed that he had all the time in the world to reconnect with Elizabeth, but maybe that isn’t the case any longer. Perhaps Jeff is dying and wants to make things right before he goes. Elizabeth will certainly be saddened by Jeff’s news if that is the case, but she won’t feel like she owes her father forgiveness just to east his conscience. Jeff will likely eventually come around, but it will take a lot of work on Jeff’s part. He was absent for over 20 years.

General Hospital Spoilers – What do you think?

Is Jeff on his way to Port Charles since Elizabeth won’t talk to him? Could he be looking to make amends? Should Elizabeth forgive her father even if he is about to die? Or does he deserve it if she never forgives him? Anything can happen in Port Charles so stay tuned to General Hospital airing weekdays on ABC. • I think that would be an interesting story plot line; especially if Richard Dean Anderson played him......He is far and away the man who he was when he originated the role and when the 'rules' of his (girlfriend's) contract which stated she had to leave the show because "she had gotten pregnant out of wedlock in her reality life." This was later than 1977.....Jeff and she wanted to marry, but his faked crazy wife Heather would not be able to grant it. RDA is quite a bit older with much less hair and with more weight on his body. This is not criticism but thoughts......put it against his pre MacGyver role by many years and it would be an interesting comparison. If it was me, I know I would want to come closer together if my father was dying.....luckily that was NEVER an issue when my dad was dying. We simply were robbed of him since cancer took him and he was barely 65. At least he didn't suffer in those 2 months. And just think, if they go with a bad health story, RDA kind of looks the part inadvertently. And they could choose a different storyline, but RDA is no longer really working, so the writers and producers could truly use their imaginations. As seen in the picture, RDA would be perfect to step back. I suppose we'll have to wait and see. It's a grand idea!!!!!!!!

  • I’m a big RDA fan. Years ago he said he’d never do a soap again. But those were the “MacGyver” and “SG-1” days. And “never” is a long time. Now, it might be fun to revisit where it all began and bring Jeff Webber back to Port Charles. I’d love to see him play the role.
