General Hospital (GH) spoilers promise more twists and turn in Esme Prince’s (Avery Pohl) storyline. The young lady has had quite a go recently. She’s a new mom, raising her child without her baby daddy in sight, and now little Ace Cassadine (Jay and Joey Clay) has been kidnapped. On top of everything else, she has amnesia with zero recollection of her past deeds. But is she telling the truth about her condition or faking it?
General Hospital Spoilers – Amnesia Has Been A Struggle For Esme Prince, But It’s Also Given Her A “Pass”
GH spoilers don’t offer any hints on if and when Esme will get her memory back. That is if she’s being honest about her amnesia. On the one hand, forgetting her past has seemingly been a struggle. Yet, on the other hand, she escaped jail time and prison because she can’t remember what she did. One can’t help but wonder if she’s faking because of this.
With that said, love her or hate her, Esme has been through a lot these past few months leading up to Ace’s birth. She was held hostage by the baby’s father, Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss). She also jumped off the Wyndemere parapet (which is considered a death trap for many) to escape him and washed up ashore while still very pregnant. She ended up in the hospital and has also done time at Spring Ridge, which isn’t exactly a day at the spa. Plus, she had to suffer through the havoc her parents Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) and Heather Webber (Alley Mills) caused while on the run with him. Regardless of whether or not she’s lying about her memory, giving birth on a couch had to have been a tad traumatic.
General Hospital Updates – What Do Fans Think? Is Esme Lying About Her Amnesia?
Soap Opera Digest (SOD) recently polled fans on their website to see their thoughts. The question was asked around whether or not they believed Esme Prince was currently “faking” her amnesia. Sixty-four percent of participants voted “yes”, while 36 percent said, “no”.
