General Hospital’s Ashton Arbab has moved on from being the victim of a mob war and has joined the zombie apocalypse. Ashton has found himself starring in the Fear The Walking Dead. Ashton will begin the series on April 24 on AMC.
General Hospital Spoilers – Picking Up Where They Left Off
Fear The Walking Dead fans will remember that the midseason finale ended with Alicia Clark (Alycia Debnam-Carey) and Victor Strand’s (Colman Domingo) battle over the tower which is the equivalent of a fallout shelter after nuclear missiles were detonated. Arbab stars in the role of Ali, who is a ranger in training. Ali meets Charlie (Alexa Nisenson) at the Tower. Ali was introduced earlier in the season when Strand and Howard (Omid Abtahi) reached out to him at the armory. Ali is described as a Ranger trainee for Strand. Will Ali be one of Strand’s loyal subjects from the beginning? Will Ali be required to prove himself to Strand before he is taken into the fold?
General Hospital Updates – Ashton Arbab’s Time On General Hospital
General Hospital’s Ashton first appeared on G.H. as Dev Cerci in 2019. Dev was a petty thief going around picking pockets while Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) was searching for Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna). Dante had been kidnapped by Raj Patel (Noshir Dalal). Dev not only helped Sonny to find Dante but helped them to escape as well. Later, Dev fled to Port Charles for protection from Raj’s followers. Sonny had fake papers drawn up claiming that Dev was the son of his cousin Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor).
Dev Cerci’s Downfall From Grace
General Hospital’s Sonny’s family embraced Dev. However, Dev developed a crush on Jocelyn Jacks (Eden McCoy). Dev decided to put an end to Jocelyn and Cameron Webber’s (William Lipton) budding romance by forging her diary. Jocelyn and Cameron’s romance may have been delayed but they eventually got back together after Dev’s death. Dev was killed in the Floating Rib when Julian Jerome blew it up after being tricked by Cyrus Renault (ex-Jeff Kober). Jocelyn never got to confront Dev over his deception. Both Jocelyn and Cameron were hurt by Dev’s lies. Sonny Corinthos hunted Julian after Dev was killed and his part in Wiley Corinthos’ (Viron Weaver) was discovered.
Dev had become an important part of Sonny’s family until his death. However, Dev’s existence could have caused the entire family to get in trouble. What would have happened if Dev had lived? General Hospital certainly opened up doors for Arbab. Will Arbab have a permanent role in Fear The Walking Dead?
