General Hospital (GH) spoilers and updates tease that Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) and Portia Robinson’s (Brook Kerr) wedding will fall apart, and she’ll have some explaining to do. She’ll make a decision in the episode of February 14, but during the week of February 20 it will all fall apart.
General Hospital Spoilers – Portia Robinson’s Decision
It sounds like in the episode of February 14, Portia will decide to continue keeping Trina Robinson’s (Tabyana Ali) paternity secret after Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) pushes her to come clean. She’ll appear to get cold feet when it’s time to repeat her vows, and Laura Collins, (Genie Francis) who’s officiating, will get nervous. It appears that the wedding will drag out over the week of February 13 through February 20 and 21st before it all falls apart.
During the week of February 13, Trina will have a hunch and her suspicions will deepen. By the week of February 20, Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) will be comforting Trina as Portia will have a lot of explaining to do.
General Hospital Updates – Portia Robinson’s Already Torn
Portia’s already conflicted and torn, thinking if her coming clean to Curtis about being Trina’s birth father is really worth it or not, considering the hurt to Trina. Stella Henry (Verneé Watson) had backed out of officiating, supposedly due to illness, but Portia realizes it’s because of her keeping the secret.
Jordan had told her that Stella knows, she figured it out, and Jordan figured it out-she was trying to help her not to make a huge mistake. Curtis divorced her over keeping police secrets, this secret Portia’s keeping is much worse of a secret to keep from him. If someone else tells him before Portia does, then she’s likely to lose him just like Jordan did; Curtis doesn’t like secrets and even less lies.
The Wedding Falls Apart, The Vows Not Taken
According to February previews in Soap Opera Digest, Trina will make an innocent gesture that brings the Ashford family to its knees. Perhaps she decides to reopen her genealogy account from her high school project and find out who that secret relative is, given her recent questioning by both Stella and Jordan. Both Trina and Marcus Taggert (Réal Andrews) would be hurt and betrayed, and this will go back years, the reason Portia is reluctant to tell.
Portia indeed will have a lot of explaining to do to a lot of people, and not the least of which are Trina, Marcus and Curtis. She’ll also have explaining to her family members present, her father Sterling Robinson (Ricco Ross) and brother Zeke Robinson (Gavin Houston).
